Health and Safety talk (and a annoying computer that won't shut up!)

Today as you may have guessed from the title has been the Health and Safety guidance for Media Productions. All of the usual stuff but you've got to make sure that you fill in risk/hazards forms so that if something could possibly go wrong you have a plan and then you end up saving yourself getting sued completely. All general stuff that you feel that you have gone through a thousand times before.

Ah so that's why it was being so damned noisey! Gomen my computer has been making strange noises at me and I've been wondering why. Turns out that it's getting its upgrade or summat similar and that'll probably take a little going through.

Managed to update Revenging Nights yesterday and came off on a really big and happy high becuase of it ^_^ I have no idea where the twists came from but I don't care it worked so damn well and had a really nice twist with the....*stops herself from speaking any further as she does not want to spoil it for anyone who is either reading it or has yet to read it*

Heh - I'm turning into a fangirl of my own stuff now ^_^;;

At work tonight as normal and learnt that for this semester I get Mondays and Tuesdays off which is brilliant in my opinion.

Wonder what Animations going to be like? God knows but it should still be fun and hopefully I'll be able to show it off.

Still better go and get this Service thing updated and then get sorted.

Day off! Yeahness

Let's see today I'm off from Uni which I'm happy about - cause my head was swimming from yesterday.

Started my course finally and spent the day going through what we would be doing and trying to sort out which groups we were actually in and where/when we needed to be in. Been told for the first semester that I'm doing the animation project - should be interesting considering that I can't draw that well and I'm the anime freak. Still looking forward to it emensely.

Also finally got Pretear Vol 4! and used my discount card to get it as well which was excellent *bounces* but I can't watch it yet as Chibi-chan is liable to kill me if I do so I'm waiting until either she comes over to mine (liable to be the weekend though) or Kal-chan has her mara...

*comes back two minuets later after rescuing the washing from the rain*

Today I plan to actually update a load of stuff cause I haven't been working on them as much and then go off to work once again.

My back's giving me a little bit of jip cause I walked from Uni to Arthurs Hill yesterday to meet mum which my back-pack a little heavy. I'm an idiot for doing so and it is going to be sorted for tomorrow - even though I just have to get the bus home.

For Kal - I've joined the Kendo society and I am planning to stick with it for as long as posible. There's no anime society yet but hopefully me and my mates might start one up! ^_^ Even though I think I mentioned it.

Bouncy Happy Post!

Let's see what have I been up to that makes me feel all happy and bubbley?

Went to Kendo on Friday night and that totally rocks! I am so staying with it for as long as I can. Learnt some basic moves - like where to put your feet and how to move as well and did some basic cuts - being the men cut (head) and the Kaquo (wrist) cut. Watched some of the guys who had been there longer pratacing and I am completely hooked by it all. And Mamo-chan better watch out cause he will be liable to be one of my first targets (just kidding)

Made a great bunch of mates there as well who are all into Anime, Magic Cards, Warhammer, RPGS and a load of other stuff which is just what I've been searching for! There is no Anime society here but hopefully we're gonna form one of our own ^_^

Went to work on Sat as normal and had a okay day with nowt much happening. Then went out to the cinema again with Chibi but this time we went to see Collateral and I highly recommend it as it is a damn good movie. Won't spoil the story for anyone who wants to see it though ^_~

Today I went over to one of my Uni mates flats and watched Anime (possibly why I'm so hyper) and then came home and had KFC.

Currently talking to Mamo-chan and Kal-chan on messenger and then looking to get sorted for tomorrow as I got a driving lesson early tomorrow morning and then my first lecture starts at 11 so it's going to be fun.

Gonna finish talking soon and then go to bed - I hate early starts. Not!

More Freshers stuff and other stuff

Well - let's see:

1) Freshers Fair Monday - came back with a load of free stuff and all sorts of junk
2) Enrollment and Laser Quest Tuesday - Got in, signed up, went to a meeting at 2:45 which was just a load of information and then on the nightime spent three hours waiting to get in to a game for five minuets in teams of six
3) Driving Lesson and Freshers Ball Wednesday - managed to do okay but made some small tests which would have caused a lot of problems if it was my test (aka I would have failed) and then the Ball was erm...reasonable but not my cup of tea - made a couple of mates at it but there was nothing really to keep me interested long enough - got a good photo taken but the bands they had weren't brilliant by any stanards. Sirens were okay but couldn't keep me interested, Cookie from something was reasonable and had the place going but only a short time and then Har Mar Superstar wtf! A middle-aged pot-bellied guy looking like he had been rejected from the 70s - thing was the music was okay and he could sing but it just did not work at all - not suprisingly I left early as I was not going to stay around for Peter Andre after that *rolls eyes*

Let's see today the lawn mower went completely screwy - which has annoyed dad slightly but he'll get over it - and then I went to Societies Fair and I've joined the Kendo Club so to quote my dad I will be 'hitting people with sticks' and hopefully having a great deal of fun. It's on every Friday 8-10pm so it's going to be fun (so if anyone wants to go to the cinema then I really need to go on Sat ((after 6)) and Sun but just let me know)

I'm at work tonight and then at Kendo tomorrow so Sat and Sun I am going to try and clear my head. My Timetable is okay - first two weeks are a bit picky but then week 3 it goes to a stanard routine which means that I get all of monday off (cept work of course)

I'm nearly skint - thank god for Payday soon - and I've got my Union Card so discounts here I come.

I better go cause the dog needs walking and then I've got work

And just in case you lot think that it's going to kill me - I'm dealing with one call queu so it's no where near as bad as it once was (jinx touch wood)

Freshers Kick Off!

Well let's see - I am now offically a student at Northumbria as I went to Freshers week kick off last night and I'm still feeling rather nackard from it.

I managed to stay out till 1am which was not bad for me at all, had a good dance, drank two and a half pints of Cider and Black, chucked up half-way through the night, got a free t-shirt as they were throwing them out into the crowd, met Trisha and Emma who are two mad gals and scored with three lads - Tom who was a little bit boring but canny enough, a Scottish lad who got me an ice water and Dan from America who was all over me and I flirted back ^_^

Amasingly I'm not hung over - got a slight head-ache but I'm putting that down to the fact that I slept in till 12 this afternoon and still in the process of waking up ^_^

Me and Chibi did go and see Hellboy on Friday which was really fun. Great film and done in the style of a comic book which actually worked ^_^

Erm...work is going okay at the mo and I've got requests to update fanfictions on fanfiction.net again so I've got to try and work on them. Sheesh I'm so busy.

Feeling tired

Well this certainly has been a long week and I feel nackard at the moment.

Still I've done some stuff which I'm happy about, I've got my Freshers pass *dances around happily* so that means I actually will be going and having a whole load of fun. I wrote a nice letter to baka-chan and got it posted off today after receiving a post card from her, works been okay but you can tell that it's getting towards christmas again as people are starting to nit-pick at everything and won't take no for an answer.

I've also finally updated a fanfiction on fanfiction.net after I got a review asking me to and put up two other ones. I keep on getting random reviews at the mo which is just a little bit disturbing.

And generally that's it.

Going to the cinema tonight with Chibi to see Hellboy so that should be fun.

I'm just thankful that payday comes at the end of Freshers I am going to be completely skint by the time I get through the first week!

Things and stuff

Well today has been fun...went to the town to get my freshers pass and what happens? The thing has been delayed til Friday which means that I've got to go back - huh this is certainly turning out to be fun.

On the plus side though I did get a new winter coat, a book for mum and myself, some knee length socks and I talked to a couple of people trying to get everything sorted generally. i think I managaged to score twice today in Traveling Man talking to some guy about RPGs in general and also in Games Workshop talking to another guy about Goblin armies and what to do. I'm starting to get worried.

Also got a Post Card from baka-chan which is nice - I'll send her one back asap - and saw Kal-chan standing at Haymarket when I was in the bus and ended up texting her which was quite funny.

Came home and watched a bit of St Trinians, then come online.

Works going okay - getting a bit busy though as it's getting towards Christmas and the rush is already just titering on the starting point again. God it only feels like a couple of months ago that I was actually dealing with all of that stuff. AHHHHHHHHH - lol

Managed to muck up sending a mail to baka as I forgot the attachments and I'm looking to go to the cinema on Friday with Chibi and Sparkie as Sparkie and me are the last ones to start Uni.

Oh to the joys of a Monday Morning

Heya people - just been muching around with the setting on my blog so that people can now comment on earlier stuff.

Just cam back from a driving lesson earlier on and did okay - just the little hiccups of speed and not looking over my shoulder when pulling away hehe *blush*

Still that's going fine and I'm feeling better so the cold's going away - so Kal you might just survive when I next see you ^_^

Still waiting to here about my loan, just been on the phone to the company who've advised to wait until the end of sep and then call if I've heard nothing.

All the fun of the fair - not!

I feel like I'm going to sniff my head off - I've gone and caught you're cold Kal-chan so I'm gonna throttle you when I next see you for it. *sniffs*

Still things are going okay at the moment with me. Me and Chibi went to the cinema the other night and saw Chronicles of Riddick which is superclass and I'm really happy that I went to see it. Creepy thing is that it's the sixteenth movie I've seen at the cinema this year so I've become a bit of a movie goer for once ^_^

I also feel the odd one out as well with being the last one to start Uni - Baka, Kal and Nashi are all starting this week and Sparkie is ahead of me by one day. I start on the 21st and I'm getting fed up of waiting - even though I've mentioned that in a previous post.

Chibi's got a blog now but I don't have the address to check up on it (Hint Chibi if you read this) and I got in contact with Chu-chan (Manda) and she's outdone herself. She's past her collage course with flying colours and is hopefully going into halls of resisdence soon which I think is going to be AB FAB for her ^_^

Been shopping today to get some more jeans to wear at Uni as I keep on running out of the bloody things and I also got myself a two pairs of shoes to wear as well. Yipee

And I've got another one in the works (aka planning only) which is generally going to be my take on reality. Bascially I'm gonna have a collection of creatures of the night (Vamps, Ghosts, Ghouls, Wearwolves etc) who have to try and pretend to be a family and of course there is going to be chaos and a hell of a lot of fun.

Just a little drabbley post as I'm happy with myself as I've got ep four of RN written and almost finished Ep 1 of FITS so hope to have that all done soon ^_^

Erm...lately just been plodding along doing various things and I'm still waiting to go to uni. 13 days left...no fair!!!

Another update from me - I swear I'm getting obbessed with this thing (will kill baka-chan later).

I feel like my head is about to explode with the unnessary stress that I have been expereicing over the last couple of days but I'm starting to feel a lot better now so it's all good and okay. I think it's just the fact that for the first time in my life (or so far as I can recall anyway) I am actually going to something where I don't really know anyone and will have to try and sort it all out myself...bring it on!

there's a small possiblity that I've over-reacted to this and the phrase 'Much Ado about Nothing' fits just nicely - my parents can varify that as I am just not being my normal self and even Brian said I was looking terminly depressed. But that is all going to be put behind me now and I'm going to have some fun and then see where life takes me cause I know that I can do anything that I want to so I will!

On a lighter note I've got my first laptop yesterday and it's fab and pretty and full of all sorts of stuff (still need to load in Works like but I'll get that done). It's also got DivX on it which means that I can now watch anime on it which in turns means downloads ^_^ I'm actually sitting doing that now. A series called 'Vampiyan Kids' which - from what I can gather from various soruces - is about a family of vampires who have been banished from ? and have to scare 1000 people in order to return. Typically one of the daughters falls in love and don't want to return. It sounds quite good and definatly funny and some of the pictures from the official site (even though I can't read anything on it) look quite fun and cheerful so hopefully it will all be good and nice.

Only got to wait one and a half hours for it to download...bloody typical

Still what else? Erm went swimming and got my forty lengths done which was another achievement for me ^_^ and have cleaned the house as Dad's gone to sleep supposedly for an hour but that was at 11 - bless him ^_^

Came up with a new Sci-fi idea at work (which I think I will work on now) and have just generally been doing other stuff.

Going out tonight with my parents to see a film but no idea was to what yet so it'll be fun to see.
