Hanging on the telephone

Well, so far today I've got up, had breakfast, sorted out with Chibi what time we were going to the cinema and then called baka-chan after finding her online.

It was great fun to chat on for 56 mins about all sorts of things. Gonna have me smiling all day now ^_^

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! *bounces around*

OMG! I think I'm still on a massive big high but who wouldn't be!!!

I actually past my driving test - with only 6 faults! That is brilliant for me ^_^ Had the same guy as last time - even though he didn't remember me - and we went a different route. It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo creepy cause before hand I F***ked up on everything I did and couldn't get anything right, then I got in that car and just drove it straight away and kept myself going. I even did a parelle park perfectly - not a signel mark for it. WOOT!

I only got two majors - one for letting the car roll back down a hill when another car was behind me (didn't have the handbreak on high enough) and the second was for the gear-stick popping out of second gear whilst I was turning left at a roundabout - thank god I was going slow and nothing was coming behind me.

So all in all I've got a grin on me the size of a chester cat whose got the largest amount of cream.

Friday was also fun - took Kal-chan to Kendo and she loved it. I need to look into getting her the price to join as a non-uni (northumbria) member but it should be okay.

And also for the first time ever I went into armour. I wasn't told I was going into armour until they pulled me, Kamo, Patrick and another kid who we (me and Kamo talking online) can't remember the name of out of the group and said right you're going into armour.

So we all got taught how to put it on and where it was all meant to stay in front of you. What we didn't quite expect was that we would suddenly be facing the Q grades and the Dan grades. That was a little scary but it was damn good fun at the same time. I ended up being the last out of the four to go into the ring and I fought Joe and Dennis who is a third Dan. Darren got a little upset cause none of us went against him but we were all like 'Darren you're the sensai, and would beat us to a plup and we're scared. Not a chance in hell yet'

Kal and the others said that I was a noisey bugger - almost matching the other guys in pitch for my Kia (actually yelling Kia as well) so although I made mistakes they said I sounded like I knew what the hell I was doing. According to Kal I sounded shit scared but was screaming back almost as if I was saying 'Yeah I'm scared but I'm still gonna hit you real hard'

Hehe I'm still happy and bouncy. Going to the cinema tomorrow - you'll all recieve a text in a while once I know the time.

Now I'm going to have a bit of fun - cya all

Christmas Shopping!!! Yeah!!!!! *bouncy and happy*

Well as the title suggests I've been doing my Christmas shopping today - virtually killed off all of my money but it'll be worth it ^_^ Got to wrap them all up and then wait until the parties. Hey it's going to be sooooo much fun seeings people's reactions to what they get ^_^ *boucny bounce*

Other than that I've been just plodding along with life and having some fun. Kal-chan's coming to Kendo on Friday - does she really know what she's letting herself in for? - and I'm looking forward to my Driving test on Sat.

Yeah...

Well, I'm off to do random stuff again.

Cya all

Driving lesson

Well, just came back from my driving lesson and it went okay I suspose but I made too many mistakes which would have cost me the test. Still I'm not going to feel down about it - much - and I'm going to learn from my mistakes...I hate round abouts.

Well, I'm going to do some stuff now and try and cheer up.

Fun Filled Weekend

God, what haven't I been doing for the last three days?

Let's see - Friday slept in and then did the top part of the house whilst bouncing around to my J-pop selection CDs. Then went to Kendo and we went through our shobori and practices the movement that we have to do ^_^ And to make it even more fun we only had Gavin and Graham - I think thats his name - to teach us as the rest had gone down to London for a compertition that was going on down there. I could have gone but don't have enouch holidays left for the year.

Then went round to Dash's and exchanged some Magic cards that I actually do need and learnt from Mat that he's going to take me and Dash up to Glawsgo one day in order to get a load of cards for a really good deck. Which should be a hell of a lot of fun.

Got the bus home at 11:20 - and the bus driver was in drag. I'm serious

Saturday - went to work as normal and it was quiet which was quite nice but a bit on the boring side. Then came home and Chibi came round and we marathoned Witch Hunter Robin Disc's 2 - 6 in a night (previously seen disc 1) so we didn't get to sleep till about 3:30 or something like that. *boucnes*

Currently checking up on a couple of things, then I've got to make characters for an rp. Haven't done that it a while.

Keep Happy everyone ^_^

A GREAT Thursday

Hehe I'm feeling soooooo happy today.

Went in to do my animation project and it's actually finished completely now so all it needs is a evaluation and a couple other things like that and a submission book - which is partially done anyway - and then I'm done ^_^ I feel really happy with it. There's a couple of tweaks that need to be done big time but I can always put them down under the heading 'If I had the chance to do this again what would I change?'

Also managed to complete my first basic html website for Denman so that's really good. I won't post the address yet cause it's got to have streaming media and a load of other stuff appilied to it - which means that peeps will be able to see my work with my animation being the first piece. *bounces happily*

Got baka-chan's letter today and I'm going to write a reply and have a lie in tomorrow.

I love feeling like this - no stress, no worries and a nice lie in.

Right I'm off ^_^

Reasonable Wednesday

Whoa I'm updating way too much but it helps to have things written down so I don't have to go on about five hundred things all in one post.

Let's see - last night I went to sound workshop and had some fun playing around with the sounds that we had recorded, me and Becky are going for a space ship style thingy which should be quite cool. then went to work as normal and got an excellent rating on a call monitoring as I helped this guy understand everything that had gone wrong with the account and he even said that I had been a star which had me grinning like a big chester cat who had gotten the lions share of the milk.

Today - slept in till 7:45 when I was supposed to be getting the 8:30 bus. Mam was kind enough to give me a life in though - I seriously don't know where I would be without her at times *gives mam a massive big hug and dad one as well cause he's still not very well*

Been through my normal Media Tech letcure and it was quite interesting - bar Graham wandering off a couple of times but that's Graham for you - and then caught the bus home.

Poor Dad's got the mumps all right - turns out I didn't even have the bloody thing and it was a viral infection that was copying it which is really annoying - and it also means that I might have to appologuise to Ha-chan cause I hit him on Friday for giving me the mumps. Oh well.

Probably going to go and do some random stuff and then go to work. God I want a lie in but I'm not going to get one cause I've got to be in for animation tomorrow. I think the opening of Gravy might get used for the piece of music I've got to animate to - even though the animations already done - but meh it'll still look cool.

Right, I'm off. Cya later peeps

An okay Tuesday

Hmmm I'm still feeling happy with myself and bouncing around - though not as much as yesterday granted.

I went for my driving lesson and bar a couple of mess ups - which I managed to correct on my resverse around a corner - it went okay. Which I'm happy about - still got some time left before my test but i've decided not to let it worry me - as much - as I did the last time cause that's just really bad and horrible and I never ever ever want to go through that all again.

Our water's finally back on - not sure if they're gonna leave it on but at least it'll be sorted for tomorrow which will be damn handy.

Work last night was reasonable - all billing again but generally okay and I'm so used to people whinding on that I kinda expect it. Though I long ago came to the general conclusion that the general public do not have an common sense at all. And those of you who have worked (or are working with the general public will know exactly what I am actually talking about ^_~). The term 'The Customer is always right' does not apply - 7/10 times - to an invoice at all.

Got sound workshop tonight, followed by work once again and I have to make sure my mobiles on this time and I will call babs to let her know what is going on.

Well, I'm off...don't know what I'm going to do. Might have something to eat and watch a bit more of WHR. heh I'm going to have to borrow the rest of Kamo - I'll lend him ZOE though so it's all fair ^_^

A happy monday

Well I'm feeling really happy at the moment. Went to Uni for the monday morning seminar and we actually all managed to talk about the film we saw - which is quite amasing considering the fact that normally we're all tired or out of our heads - the latter being the most common. And it was so much fun anaylising that film cause they'res just way too much to talk about ^_^

The came home, watched another episode of Witch HunterRobin and then went for my driving lesson and that went quite well. If I can keep like that then I will be very happy. Only two weeks left until I retake my test so I'm feeling good about it ^_^

Currently bouncing to Love Hina music and eating a sandwich ^_^

Keep happy guys and see you later ^_^

Forgetting to update not any more ^_^

Whoa - this week has been hetic as hell. Ever since monday I've been running around trying to sort something out that I've lost track of half the stuff I've done. But today I feel really good and happy.

A very very quick breakdown -

Tues - went in to Uni to get the film for my animation project and had to get it done in an hour cause I had a driving lesson starting at 10:30 (that was annoying and took forever), managed to get the film done (of me dancing *cringe*) luckily, then returned home, had a bit of a crap driving lesson (manovers again), then came home had a 121 with mam cause I was virtually crying due to a load of crappy stress that I did not need managing to build up rather heavily on me - thankfully though I talked things over with mam and felt a hell of a lot better afterwards - , then went to Sound Workshop and it went on till six which meant I was late for work and I didn't call my supervisor to tell her that I was going to be mega late. Oppsey, still she monitored a couple of my calls and said that I did really well on a couple of them which I'm happy about ^_^

Wednesday - over slept a little and had to run around getting things sorted, got the bus into Uni went through my letcure, then came home, did something which I can't quite recall what now (that could be bad not!) and then went to work

Thursday - had a lie in till 8 and then caught the 9:15 bus to get in for my animation work, spent half the morning copying the said movie of me dancing and did about 64 seperate images using reto-scouping animation - basically copying the image directly from the screen and making it look really scribbley and bouncy - then used the computers to test that it was working and it does. I feel really happy cause I've got about an eight second piece that needs a bit of prating on with to get finished but I've done my first proper piece of animation and it works. I move and dance around the screen and it looks really cool ^_^ hehe I'll stop jumping around now. then I got the 4 o'clock bus home - saw Nashi standing at Haymarket when I got to the top row of the bus and tried to wave at her but I don't think she saw me. I should have texted her I suppose but the bus had pulled away. Went to work and then went to bed

Friday - cleaned my room only cause mam had done the whole house on Thursday, took the dog for a walk, went in for my film theory letcure and we watched 'Imitation of Life' and I cannot praise that film enough. It's a melodrama in the most extreme sence but by god it doesn't half get the emotions going. About 75-90% of my media class really enjoyed it and many people said that they weren't trying to cry at the end of it (me included) so if you fancy a really good weepy story get it out and watch it. I'm going to try and find a copy cause I enjoyed it that much ^_^ went home afterwards - cause mam and dad had gone out for the day - and walked the dog, had tea and then caught the bus to get to Kendo for 8. Praticed a verity of different things including the Kitty Kata (if it's spelt that way - need to go and download some stuff methinks) which is a move that everyone has to do - including the Dan Grades. I really enjoyed that lesson but I need to get my own shinei. Then Kamo and Ha came back to mine - after Ha had stopped talking to his friends meaning we missed the 10:20 bus so mam had to come and pick us up. Was up to 3:40 in the moring playing Magic (or more rightly for me getting trounced as usual) and I hate Kamo's control deck cause that is an annoying thing indeed! and then watching the first two episodes of Witch Hunter Robin which is this years CowBoy Bebop and I really like it - I've borrowed the first two disks off Kamo so I'm going to have to watch them - as well as Akira cause I borrowed that off Mark from Media.

Sat - got up at 8 (four hours sleep), had breakfast and laughed at the mad antics of Kamo and Ha - seriously you have to be there to see it - then went to work for my usual shift and came up with an rp idea that baka might be interested in (it's going to be detailed in your letter baka-chan - which I still need to write by the way), then came home, got changed and then went out to see Shark Tale with Chibi, Kel, Ha, Kamo and Chu as it was her birthday the other day and I enjoyed it. Not the best film of the year but one of those ones you can put on Friday/Saturday night and quite happily watch it - and laugh out loud at some very corney jokes. Ended up calling mam to give us a lift at 11:30

Today - got up at 12 again, had breakfast, got ready, went to the tip and bottle bank - smashy smash with the glass - then went to Sainbury's to get some stuff we needed. Poor dad's gone and got the mumps so he's not very well at the moment - and he's got it worse than what I had it, so he's going to get a lot of love and hugs - and I also bought mum two boxes of Belguim chocolates for picking me up twice at stupid times at night. Then came home, checked my mails, sorted out some stuff on WOL and now I am updating my blog whilst listening to my J-pop selections CDs which I got off baka.

Reasonable breakdown I think but meh. Anyway I'm off to write baka-chan's letter and then call chibi to see if she wants to come round and watch anime ^_^ *bounces off*

"Life, Don't Talk to Me about Life"

Yes - Kal-chan before you say anything it is a quote from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and made by Marvin the Paranoid Android. That's about how I feel at the moment.

I feel like I'm trying to do way too much at once but it's no biggy (forigve me if I sound really annoyed but I kinda am and maybe this will get rid of a load of bad feelings and slight stress that I'm feeling at the mo).

Let's see Uni Life - Last week I went back to Uni on the monday and Juliet didn't turn up, then on the Tuesday went for my driving lesson and then to Sound Workshop where I recorded the sound of a tin being battered about, then Wednesday went in for Graham's letcure and ended up outside due to the Case of the Strange Smell. Thursday was the worst day by far...for my animation project I need to have a film of people dancing and trying to track down the guy I had to speak to in order to book use of the drama studio had taken a little bit of time anyway but RJ told me in the morning to go and find him as he was expecting to see a couple of people. So round Lipman building I went and no sign of him, went back to RJ who told me to keep on looking, spent about an hour searching Lipman and Squires Annex (my building) for him and ended up asking the people in the Stores where he was, arranged to meet him a 3pm outside Lipman Theatre, went back to inform RJ that I had found him, then went shopping for Manda's birthday present and then also went around the charity shops buying stuff for my cosplay's (more on that later ^_~), went to head back to animation department in Squires building (second of my buildings) and met Becky who was going to the meeting about studying in USA, so I went to that (again more on that later), once that was over I then went back to the animation room and stayed there until quater to three, went to the Lipman theatre to wait for the guy, three fifteen he still hadn't shown up so I went up to his office and found that he was there cause he had forgotten about it, arranged to use the room, went and told RJ so he would know that I would need the camera I'm going to borrow, caught the bus home (forgot to text mam to let her know that I was going home cuase I didn't have my work things - oopse), sat down, had some chicken burgers and then went to work. Friday seemed pretty normal - bar the fact that I slept in and had to clean the top part of the house in less than one and a half hours, have some form of breakfast, walk the dog and then go and catch the bus to get to Uni for 11:30 for Film Theory. Amazingly I walked the dog and cleaned the top part of the house, missed breakfast (but bought some at Uni - thank god for the Uni shop) and managed to catch the bus and still be one of the first people there. Then once the letcure was over I went and decided what people were going to get for Christmas - cause it is a lot of fun trapsing round to get everything ^_^. But I haven't bought anything yet...~_~

Kendo was fun on Friday Night, we were just going through the Kata's which I can't remember the names of (I'm going to have to get a book to remind me of some things) and I've got the possiblity of going into armour within the next two sessions and apparently that is when it actually starts to hurt. Eeep! Still it's doing me a load of good cause when I got back I was positively bouncing - as those of you who were at Nashi's fireworks will be aware and I felt a hell of a lot better - then I went to Nashi's for said Fireworks (and nearly got killed by one thanks to Andy ((probably not her fault but it's something that ain't going to ever leave her)) ) with Mat in tow ^_^ as Dash is still in Belguim at the mo. Once that was over, me and Mat came back to mine and ended up having cheesy mini pizza and watching Kill Bill vol 1 still 02:10 in the morning.

Sat I went to work as normal - though how is a bloody mystery to me considering I woke up at 7:10 - and during the avaiblity time I came up with yet another concept gangster/kung fu/kill bill esc style movie which I'm quite intrigued with. Dad did point out that I was virtually ripping Kill Bill off and in a way I know I am but I'll faff on with it and try and keep it as original as possible. ^_^ You'll probably all here about it if you ask me about it cause it's still in the I need to work on stages. Mam picked me up from work with Grandma and we learnt that a load of horrible little brats had been letting fireworks off right next to Lancanster House and terrifying the resisdents there. If I had been around I would have been out there telling the little beggers to f**** off and go and cause problems somewhere else. I know Grandma can be a pain at times, but I love her to bits and I've had some really great times with her and I don't appricate little bastards trying to scar her and the others. Heh I guess I would have gone as loco as the time that I went loco at the lads who were hasseling Mandy that once. *bites lip as she smiles at that memory* Them little beggers wouldn't have know what was going to hit them.

What? I'm a bit protective when it comes to things like that and I seriously hope that none of yous ever get to see me in that state cause when I go loco I seriously go loco and there's very little to stop me. Ask Kelly or Manda next time you see them - or Nashi but I don't quite think she's seen me go loco (bar at Chris and that was very very mild). Heh a side of me that not a lot of people have seen - for a damn good reason as well.

Right moving onto happier things - cosplay's are going to get sorted asap and with a couple of them I'm nearly there. Hot Ice Hilda just needs an eye-patch cause I've got everything else, Hana-chan's got the main part done - got a long dark blue skirt and a velvet blue jacket (school uniform) and the plate cause my hair's too short now I just need a white school girl's shirt to go under the jacket and a pair of shoes and that's her done. Go's Resturant uniform is virtually done as well - need to get some red hair spray (pratice getting my hair to spike backwards) and a couple of extra's and then I'm done. Subaru has yet to be started but I might have to re-think how I'm doing her cause I've got a lot of sewing to do - thank god that costume is going to be for Ame 06 - but I might have to make a couple more cause we're still got a possiblity for getting an anime soicety going at ours. (will let you know asap about that)

Saw Baka-chan on sunday night and caught up with her and some of the others which was quite fun. I admit that I left a bit early but I was getting tired and I had a bit of a early start today so I wanted to be up and have some descent amount of sleep - even though I slept in till 12 yesterday.

Today I got up to find mam trying to sort out her room so that she can paint it - she's currently painting it right now but doesn't want any help. So sorted out a couple of things, then went to uni for my film seminar about written on the wind, came home, walked dog, had lunch, went for my driving lesson and managed to mess up on two round-abouts and that bloody corner that's neither round nor square but you have to treat it as a sqaure corner and once again I didn't let it come around far enough to the left so I was close to the left hand curb. Knowing my luck I'm going to get it back on my test but I'm going to conquor that damn thing if it kills me! Not literally either.

*takes a deep breath* Now that feels a little better.

I'm going to go and do some work for Uni - this was only meant to be a quick update - and then go to work, get up early tomorrow to go and record the dance scequence for animation, then get home for 10:30 for another driving lesson.

Life, don't talk to me about life. It means 42!!!

The Case of the strange smell

No, Ryu-chan has not gone mad nor is she writing wierd and wacky stuff. Today we all got carted out of our letcure (quite ironically on lights and colouring) because there was a funny smell in the corridor just outside of us and they had no clue what it was. So out we all trooped (taking our time to make sure we had all of our stuff) and stood there whilst we waited for something to happen. In the end we were told to go away and do something until 11 o'clock, so me Becky, Martin and Jack went to the Sandwich shop and then came back.

It turned out that the generator thingy (which I can't remember the name of) that powers the flurosent lights had gone all ho-har and was causing a bad smell. They turned it off and we went back to life and the wonderful world of learning how light is split into a load of colours and how we need to mix them correctly to get the right appearance on our films and stuff. Thank God I'm going to be a writer - but then again I do have to do camera and lighting work so it's a good idea that I learn this sort of stuff.

Got Baka-chan's letter today *bounces wildly* Nightmare Before Christmas YES!!!! *continues to bounce* A big thanks to your mate Baka-chan, now everyone's gonna get annoyed at me ^_^ I'll have to try and write a reply and get it sent off, but no garentees.

Erm...what else have I been up to? On monday I went back into Uni and the seminar was cancelled cause Juliet didn't turn up and on Tuesday I went back in for my sound workshop and recorded for the first time. That was interesting...kinda. Hey they were sweets - true they were provided by me but there were still sweets.

Went to work last night and finally got my new mobile off them so I'm going to have a new number - you'll all get a text about it asap once it's all registered.

I was going to rant on about demonic kids on bus's as well but I think I'll leave that bit of insantiy out for the time being as there were no demonic kids on the bus this morning...well there was a wierdo driver but tis to be expected on the 08:30 bus.

RJ has been annoying me about having mumps but he's wierd like that so I might forgive him - or I might just find something and hit him with it tomorrow...that sounds quite tempting actually. Just kidding.

I think I've got plans for my cosplays - hoping to do Go but I'm stuck between doing him as a leafe knight or in his resturant outfit and Hot Ice Hilda - cause I've got the trousers and just need to get a couple of odds and ends. Got a couple others I want to do but they'll more than likely be for amacon and they could possibly inc Subaru/BT from Hack and Hana-chan from Fruits Basket (The psych cause all I would need to find was a plate) so yeah, that's my plans.

I think I'll start having a hunt next week cause I got to go shopping for Manda-chan as she is turning 19 on the 12th of Novemeber...I don't know what she's doing but I'll find out.

Well I better go - haven't had my dinner yet (or my antibiotics yet)

Actually just remembered something - *rushes downstairs*

Found this on Ananova last night at work - The best chat up line or ice breaker line in a relationship according to Japanese psychologists and sociologists is

"Rainen no kono hi mo issho ni waratteiy-oh"

Translation (so chibi don't kill me)

"This time next year, let us be laughing together"

I thought it was really sweet...okay I'm a bit of a sucker for this sort of thing, but it does make you smile. What you think?

Well this time I'm definately off.

Stay well peeps and hope to see you soon ^_^
