Old Lang Sign (Or Last Day as the Scot's call it)

Well it's New Year and it feels like this year has gone by really really fast. I can't believe half the stuff that has gone on and I'm sure I'm still realing off some of it. But all of that stuff can go into my 'Start of 2005' blog once I actually get some time to get to write it.

Since my last update (and to fulfil the request from Baka-chan to update :-p) I've been working on my essay for uni and have the first draft done - mam's going to read it and then it's getting re-drafted (and I'm still singing "Put the Blame on Mame"), worked a little on my animation project stuff and still need to do the evalutation for it, got confirmation of my order from Nine Circles so all my Kendo stuff is going to be coming over the next week (yeahness!!!), sat and watched Star Wars the other day, went into work on Wed and Thurs and it was quiet which was very strange and wierd but very cool cause I got my film plot finished and drew a picture as well (I know but it was that dead that I managed it).

Went Ice Skating yesterday - even though I haven't been skating for about eight years or so - and did eventually manage to get three quaters of the way round without holding onto the wall but I fell over cause of a little kid getting in my way. Also fell over four times - twice onto my back and twice down the wall (don't ask how it's complicated).

Also went and got the tickets sorted for Dad's b/day present for Limehouse Lizzy (whoohoo) and went to Kel's for her 19th and drank White Dimonds Cider which is a high volume and it kinda went a little to my head but not too badly.

Today, got up, cleaned the upstairs, posting on this (like you couldn't have guessed that), going to take the dog for a walk and then go and meet up with baka and Kal and anyone else who turns up.

A Really Fun Christmas

Well it's Boxing Day and I feel completely over the moon about everything. I had a great time yesterday and today I'm going to have a great time as well.

I was up at 8:40 which is quite late for me on Christmas day and I opened my presents. I got clothes (inc a Blue Kimono), books, DVDs, a cuddley toy, some alocohol, a movie quiz and a gerouse Choke Box from my Grandma. I then proceeded to stuff myself stupid on food and watched 'Santa Clause', '102 Dalmatations' and 'Harry Potter and the Philophers Stone', then had a bath with my new smellies (forgot to mention them) and then fell quite happily asleep.

Today I got up, had BLT's for breakfast, took Dog for a walk and then came online. Have just ordered my own Shinai, Bouken, Shinai scrappers and oil, carry bag (in red) and a head cloth. I was going to get the robes but I might wait until I get my back pay from Orange and get them then. Yes!

Currently I'm talking to Hiyaku and I was talking to Baka but she's gone to play on her Game Cube. Still...I'm going to find something fun to do and then see what the rest of the day brings.

The bloody joy that is bloody technology - I thought I was meant to be on holiday until after boxing day then I could spend some really quality time on my University work. But no! It's twenty-past two on a thursday afternoon and I've just finished two stressful days of typing up my theory notes as the bloody laptop computer won't make it's CD drive work, trying to keep track of my back pay which I did not get cause some twit has not sent through any paper work, trying to call Mrs Arkely whose out in some part of the world and whilst managing every other aspect of my life.

Right now I wouldn't mind if there was a real version of the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy on the pretense that someone could just come and throw me out of a airlock, having a paranoid adroid around for a big of bitchin at, my best mate to turn out to be from a small planet somewhere in the versinty of beatlejuice, another friend to have grown a second head and a third arm and then steal a spaceshift with the infinitate improbability drive, a really cute and sexy guy who I failled to get off with at a nice party in a nice part of Cramlington whose just there for the hell of it, suddenly to find out that the planet is an organic computer designed to find the ultimet question to the ultimet answer of life, the universe and everything (being 42) which was destroyed 10 minuets too early and then I end up in the peaceful existence of a pre-historical earth trying to teach the cave men to play scrabble when "the only word they know is grunt and they can't spell it"

*burst out laughing completely and totally happy*

Okay, now that I've finished my daft if not-very-heavily-copywrite-infridgned rant has finished I can make myself explain better.

Basically I've been copying my notes for my theory essay for media cause my laptop is going to be fixed by gericom and I've just been a tad annoyed about it cause when you're trying to have a bit of peace and quiet but end up copying up all of your notes it turns into a big bloody annoyance.

Still on a much lighter note, and considering the fact I haven't properly updated in a while I'll go on about some happier stuff.

The Second Christmas Party:
Went well - bar the fact that Nashi was sick into a yellow bucket - which I am not really going to let her live down as with all such Nashi related things (then again she probably knows some stuff about me which she won't let me ever live down) - and it was a good laugh

Had Heaton Pies for tea on a couple of nights ^_^ and have got Starlight Express to look forward to.

Went to the Panto on Tuesday and that was very funny and excellent. Dad managed to get a responce from one of the guys as (for those who have seen it) when Muddles was doing the Gorrial bit (though what a Gorrilla is doing in a forest is beyond me) he said 'I can't believe I'm getting paid for this' and Dad says a little too loudly 'Niether can we';

Well I just got in from my tech test and I feel really happy abou it - I know I've missed a hell of a lot of stuff but what I got down I was happy with (let's just hope the examinars are as well)

Erm...other than that my parents (last I heard - there not in at the moment) are in a mood with eachother but i think that's been resolved now which is very good news - though I'll wait till they get back befor comfirming that.

Went and met Baka-chan off the train yesterday and had a bit of a natter on - gomen nasai for leaving early but I did have revison to do.

Ended up with another two esculations at work last night - I swear poeple are all just turning into Scourges! - but got Chris reading my plot outline for the ganster film thingy which is really good news.

Off to go and do something, might even watch anime but unsure.

Christmas Cosplay Party Number 1

Well I can say that the CCPN1 went very well and it was a load of fun ^_^ I yes people I know I've got to send you the photo's but give me a chance will you!

In bad books with mam cause I hadn't got any pizza and when we did get said pizza we hardly ate any of it
Waking up the next day at 8:30, had breakfast, went to the beach

Yesterday I did not go back to sleep after everyone had gone - I sat and watched Akira which is amazing but a-very-big-head-trip, took the four legged thing for a walk, watched Saiyuki downstairs as my parents had gone out (Kal-chan lent me the preious Discs - well 1-2) and I'm hooked on it. Kal-chan you have another Saiyuki fan to add to your list - as does Baka - and I love it.

(If you read this before Thursday) Kal-chan can I borrow the next bit, pwease?

lol Also borrowed Haibane Renmei Disc 1-2 from Kamo and I need to watched them as well. And I've still got to finish Kino's Journey and watch Twilight of the Dark Master. And anything else that get's thrown at me. Man! Still, lots and lots of anime to watch ^_^ just not enough time to watch it all :-(

Backtracking a bit -

Went to Kendo on Friday and back into armour *woohooo!* and ended up in a practise tornement for the one on Sat which I could not go to cause of work. Still, I ended up against a Q grade whose been doing it for a year - compared to me whose's only been doing it for three months or so - and I got beaten. But amazingly not cause he got any good hits on me but because I stepped out of the ring twice/three times, lost my balance and fell over and then the last one I have no clue what happened at all...but still everyone said I did pretty okay considering the guy I was facing has an annoying habit of tightly holding himself together so that you can't get a Kuote (wrist) cut on him, Dore (waist) cut's are next to impossible to get anyway and Men's (head) are the only ones really avaible but he's an annoying fast bugger an all. But it was still mega mega cool ^_^

Right, I'm going to quickly do something then have a sleep before work.

"I'm the happyest Christmas Tree" lalalala

Well - tonight me and mam have just finished putting up all the pretty christmas decorations including the tree, lights and all the other stuff. It's hard to believe that it's nearly the first party already but I'm totally looking forward to it.

In Uni tomorrow to resolve some quick things with my Tech project but it shouldn't take very long ^_^

Enjoying life

Well, finally remembered to come and update but sometimes finding the energy can be a little bit taxing - which is not that fun but meh.

Went to Kendo on Friday as normal with Kal-chan - she's become hooked on it apparently - and went through a series of kata's and got to hit Dash as he was in armour but I wasn't. Only problem is that the daft twerp didn't move out of the bloody way so I kept on mucking things up - he is so going to get pleted for that when I get a chance. Then went round to Mat's and watched bits of Amazmanga Diaoh and also got a recording of Mat singing the song which is going to be stored in a safe place and used to embarras him later on...hehehe

Got the bus home - not realising that it didn't go past Kal-chan's stop. Damn thing, but luckily her brother picked her up ^_^

Saturday got up and went to work as usual and it was nice and quiet - which makes a change from the hetic running round that we have to deal with during the week...I hate Christmas when I'm in billing call cque they're all whinging on cause they haven't got any money and they've got a high bill cause they didn't bother to pay off their last months invoice and they want me to give them money back - no cause it's partly their own fault. Okay I can understand some of them getting into trouble and the ones who are kanny towards me I don't mind but the ones who demand things and expect it to be done there and then and are rude, impolite and nasty I'm afraid aren't going to get a nice happy Customer service but what's really annoying is that I can't be nasty towards them or I get told off.

Why can't customers just behave nicely towards us and let us explain things? That is a fantasy that will never come true...*sigh* and I've got to deal with them again tonight *rolls eyes*

I'm complaining but I still love my job - mainly cause the lads make me smile so there's always and upshot.

Moving away from icky customers and call cques...

Also got a plot progression done for my latest movie done which I'm really happy about cause it's flowing along nicely. And Ahmed at work is being a big help and making me think about the story in depth which is very helpful.

When I got home from work I had a nightmare with the connection on my computer - must be something with Christmas but it's behaving at the moments which is quite good.

Woke up on Sunday and went shopping with mam for the Christmas Tree which should be getting delivered today, Grandma's present which means that I've finished my shopping for this year, and mum wanted to spend some money on me so I got a few tops and jackets ^_^ Then went to the industrial estate and praticed driving in mam's car which was completely fine - bar I kept on mis-judging the clutch but mam says that's just cause I'm not actually used to the Audi yet - and then I drove home in the dark and I was fine. ^_^ Yeah me!

Got in, wrapped up all of my christmas presents and got the cards written - still need to get some but I can do that at a later date - tried to get the connection to work once again on the computer but it was being stupid - and it's still being good which I'm happy about *pets it lovingly* - we had KFC for our tea and watched Robin Hodd Prince of Thieves and no matter how many times I watch that film I always enjoy it. Then went to bed

Got up this morning - after spending the night going through bursts of sleep and awake annoyance in itself - caught the bus, worked on my website and got the work done for wedneday which is quite good cause now that means I can work on all of the other bits. Then went for my morning seminar and we were all talking away - probably cause we watched T2 on Friday which made it all good and we were all actually awake for once. Then went and sat the Guidence test for Media which was multi-choice and we were allowed our books in so I think I've done okay but I won't actually know for a little while.

Went and posted my driving lisence off so that it can change from Learner to Driver and then all we need to do is get insurance out on mam's car in Febury and I'll be able to drive it whenever I want - but I am not becoming a scivey for you lot understand!

And the numbers coming to the parties are:

11th - Me, Chibi, Kal, Kamo, Cape Town and Hiyaku

19th - Me, Baka, Chibi, Kal, Nashi, Kamo, Sparkie, Cape Town and Heretic

I'm still waiting to here from Kelz and Manda and also Kamo's brother is coming along as well to one of them.

General Life

Well, what can I say about the last couple of days? On Sunday I went to the cinema with Chibi, Kamo (Duck in case any of you were gettting mixed up on Chibi's blog) and Hiya to see The Incredibles and it was really worth while. Had me smiling all the way through and I'm going to buy it when it comes out. Yeah!

Monday was just a general happy, plodding through life, uni and work day. Nothing really special there but never mind.

Tuesday was a lazy day - not having to get up for a driving lesson was really strange - so I ended up talking to Baka-chan online and downloading FFVII soundtrack. Went to the final Sound Workshop that I had and the music was all done so we just put it to some animation and it kinda fitted. Then went to work and got a free Incredibles Phone holder which looks pretty neat - heh the joys of working for a company that give you freebies every-so-often and then came home, had tea and went to bed.

Today got up, a bit late cause it was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to cold, went in for my Tech Letcure all about Filters and how to use them which was very intersting and then we were given our assignment for Tech which is to make a page on our website have a scrolling image selection of a story board for an idea. Which is sooooooooooo cool. I think I'm going to do a story board for the opening section of RN cause it's sitting there waiting to have things done to it - namely updating but erm well ya know - so I'm going to do that for it. Probably take me some time but the hard parts doing the drawing.

Not sure what I'm doing the rest of today - probably find something to do.
