The week

Well I have been meaning to update and all but I keep on getting side tracked. Heh here we go:

Teusday:
met up with Kamo and Hiya but did not kill them amazingly - even though the deserved it but I kinda went on at them for ages and ages about it to get my revenge. Dash looks somewhat different now which is quite strange and I can't wait for my parents to see him. For those of you who have read Kamo's blog and are wondering about the comment I made that had him bouncing for joy, it was basically that I said I would have waited for him, even if it meant waiting till after uni for it. Yesh I know the romantic stuff :p

Came home and sorted out the dog and the rest of the washing, then went to work as normal with the usual stuff and came home and made tea.

Wednesday:
The day of what did I not do...I walked the dog, washed car, mowed the lawn, went to little shops to get the tv paper, called gran, made shopping list for Thursday, edited rps together and put the clothes away. Then went to work and attempted to get as many pops as possible but no such luck there. Came home and made tea and then went online.

Thursday:
I swear I will not go shopping at half-two in the afternoon around this time again. Honestly Blyth is a real pain in the arse and I wouldn't mind but I learnt to drive there and they were all acting like a bunch of numptys! Honestly, luckily I got the shopping done in plenty of time and came home put it all away and drove to work. I only nearly got killed twice cause some twit decided to pull out in front of me so I had to swerve to avoid him cause another car was coming up behind me and I couldn't stop and then some daft cow was driving out of a side street where a truck was blocking the view of the road granted but she was pulling out without looking to see where I was. So I'm sitting there going 'oh great' - luckily and as you probably guessed nothing bad happened and I was able to get through it but seriously that was daft and plain stupid.

Work was reasonable and Ahmed came round and we watched Anime, namely Abenosbashi, Azumanga Dioh and Chrono Crusade ep 1+ 2 which was cool. Stayed up after he had gone and watched Chrno (as it's spelt everywhere) 3+4 cause I was bouncing so much.

Friday:
Got up late and cleaned the house, the mooched and fell asleep for an hour or so. Got up, washed, dressed and sorted and then went to Chibi's for her birthday. Mental note next time you buy her oreo's give her the full box - she's probably already through them all by now anyway. She liked the cookie jar very much and should get plently of use out of it.

Saturday:
Slept in by half-an-hour and just managed to make it in to work on time. So half-an-hour into my shift and Scholar (my internet based system that holds a hell of a lot of information) goes down and I cannot access anything on it at all what so ever which means I'm kinda screwed. So I write down my pops and luck had it that Ahmed was kind enough to let me use his systems so I could get my pops for that day - well more correctly it gave him ten minuets off line time so he was happy about that. Then came home, made myself some tea, had a bath and then went online till bed time.

Sunday:
Was up at 7:20 to ensure that I caught the start of the moto gp - don't you love the fact that your parents go away and won't be able to watch it - so I stick the tape on and get it recorded. OMG what a race! It was so cool and mega wootage. Rossi won again (as usual) but I felt sorry for Gib as his bike ran out of fuel with only one mile to go...how evil is that! Then went to Grans for sunday dinner and had a strange conversation about spiritisum but I'm not going any further on that subject. Came home at four and fell asleep till eight twenty. Then had a little snack and went online before going to sleep.

Today:
Had a lie in, walked the dog, fed her, started my washing, mooched around, had a bath, took dog for a walk again, picked up Cape Town (aka Tully), met the others, got Kal (or Kakl as she wrote) on WT and then went and got food, started recording Dungeons and Dragons for Dad - though why is a bloody mystery - and then watched DNAngel and Full Metal Panic. Really liked Angel and I'm so going to buy that series - even though Risa is a total airhead - and Greg plays good 'supposed' bad guys though I don't yet know the full story in regards to that yet. Full Metal was kinda...erm...an unsure one for me...I'll probably watch it again but I was getting a bit confused, lost and rather bored with it. Heh maybe it's one of those ones where you have to sit and properly work it all through.

The others went home so I got sorted out, checked the video which was fine, sorted the dog out (whose currently sleeping on my pillow) and had a shower cause I felt like it and came online and finally updated this.

What a mad weekend

Well my parents are off on holiday and this weekend has been rather wierd but so so much fun.

Saturday - after my parents left at 5, I got up at 8 to an empty house which felt mega weird and got myself sorted and went to work. Nowt particually exciting and the customers were being a bit on the whingy side. Came home, waited for Chibi and found out some great news. Basically the whole Icky thing in the last post was that she had mucked up on some exams and thought that she wasn't going to be able to get into Uni. So she checked the UCAS website and Aston had changed their offer to Unconditional, she called them and found that she was in Uni. We both went mad and hyper for about five minuets or so - literally bouncing around the room - and I continued to make tea.

Baka came round and we spent the night watching DVDs and playing Video games and went to bed at 2:30ish in the morning.

Sunday - was woken up by the dog, got sorted, took her for a walk and then offered to make breakfast. It was going to be a BLT sandwich, we had no tomarto's. So it was then going to be a BL sandwich, we had no bacon. So it became a S Stottie. (Sausage stottie). We then decided to see a movie later on that day and they both stayed over.

To pass the time, we watched Princess Monoke and then decided to play Trival Pursuit. These are some of the more interesting answers we got:

So once that was over we went and had a pizza hut and then went and saw Unleashed. OMG! It's a f******ng brilliant film. British made and rather violent gangster film with a damn good plot. Seriously you have to go and see it! It's brilliant!

Went home, went online and then to bed.

Today - woke up at 12 and started the washing, also made myself some breakfast, went to the little shops to get some stuff, went to work and have spent the last two hours trying to get in contact with both Kamo and Hiya for the last hour and a half so that I can meet them up tomorrow. I wouldn't mind bar the fact that I sent them both a text messages on my break and have called them three times and left three seperate answerphone messages. If they don't get in contact with me sometime soon I'm not going to see them cause I don't know when or where they want me and I have the dog to worry about.

(So yes when you two read this you are in trouble when I get my hands on you)

Anyway, I ish going to go and play now.

I swear, never let your parents go on holiday without you. I've never known a time when we've gone on holiday before to be sooo stressful but things are quietening down a little now. Heh it will all go well!

So good things this week:
1)Got my Prints of Avis *hugs him madly* on Tuesday and got them all nicely framed and stuff so they look pretty ^_^
2) Got a new bag for Kendo (and yes I have not gone tonight but I'm too knackard to go)
3) Final Draft Scriptwriting Software arrived today which I'm mega happy about and it makes scripts look prettiful!!
4) Got to go out on the Trike twice which is mega cools
5) Bought Pretear Manga vol 1

Icky things:
1)Chibi being upset - not telling anything about it cause she don't want me to
2)Parents getting stressed over holiday

Crazy mad things:
1) Wound Ahmed up at work (with the help of Rachael my other mate) by telling him he had a stupid number of call backs and he had been overheard giving his number out - least to say he was calling us both evil for it but a packet of Oreo's made him happy
2) Ahmed's now a .Hack//sign fan
3) Apparently my beloved boyfriend and Hiyaku are elloping and spending a night in a hotel together (without me due to work) and then are randomly going to be running off to China and become excuative businessmen (to which I get no look in at all) and from the conversation last night I don't doubt it:

Probably should upate

Well things have been rather placid of late but reasonable...god I wanna go back to uni and have stuff to do. I mean I've got stuff now but I want to be doing lots of things and taking up a lot of time...I'm strange but it's a leo trait and boy have I blinking well got it.

Some key thigns that have happened over the last week or so:

Tuesday - Sweep got attacked by two cats as I went up to the big shops/Manor Walks and I ended up having to almost hit them with the leader to get them off her. Horrible nasty cats *snarles at them*

Friday - Kendo was surprisingly different, I got my new Shinai through the post which I was glad about, turned up with Kal-chan and ended up with Darren and Dennis being the only Dan Grades there but luck was on our side cause Mark had just come back and we had the Korean lad. So as we were doing the Shomen N...I've forgotten it again (makes note after this to get the kendo terms learnt by heart or Darren will murder me) Darren told us off and made us go back to the basics to get it all right so that when we got our newbies within the next three months that we could sound like we knew what we were doing.

So we go through everything for looking the part and then have to demonstrate to the others with the kie, ken and kondi? Another one I've gotta learn, basically Spirit, sword and body all moving as one, and everyone had to say if it worked well or not. so Darren starts with Mark who goes reasonably well but a little off with the spirit, then he went to Kal and she did excellent really started to look the part and know what she was doing - just a little quiet on the kie side but otherwise go girl! - then Darren glances at me and goes to the Korean lad who does well but misses the cuts but everyone does that anyway and then turns to me with that know-it-all grin and says 'Right Sarah, the pressures on you now to get it perfect cause we've pointed out all the other mistakes'.

*worried groan sound* So I take a deep breath, close my eyes, straighten up, open my eyes and do the five men cuts. I stop not really having thought about them and knowing that I got one a little off center, Darren 'I wish I had a camera just to show you what you were like before and what your like now'. That was mega wierd but it made me smile, only problem is that he's going to be hounding me to keep it like that. *groans again*

Heh but still fun.

Saturday - after work I went to Kamo's for his birthday and had a BBQ, quite fun and generally a nice time. Sunday woke up, went and saw Jo his cousin and ended up exchaing all sorts of things (still need to work on the scripts that we're going to do but heh it'll be fun) and then missed the 3:30 train so had to wait for the 4:30. Got it and Gran was round when I got home, had tea and a bath and then stayed onlione till stupid o'clock with Baka-chan.

Today - got up reasonablly and mowed the lawn by myself - back and front. Would've woke up Dad to help me but he would have grumbled and I thought that he would wake up when her heard the mower cause it's a noisy thing. Apparently he did wake up and hear it but then turned over and went back to sleep so now that's been dubbed 'a Seh Seh' sleep whilst mum's is 'Num-num' sleep. Yes my Dad is very wierd.

Also watched Dragon Drive Subbed and it's ten times better. Neeways off to do stuff now ^_^

Ouch

No the title is not a random one at all, there is a reason to why I say ouch and that was due to kendo on Friday night.

But I'll leave you in a little suspence and make you read a little before I tell you what made me go ouch.

Friday - got up a little on the late side but didn't really matter. Cleaned the top part of the house as is usual for my routine on a Friday. Had something to eat and then went into town to buy b/day presents for a couple of people I could mention and also to get Ahmed's b/day present for me with the vouchers I got.

I ended up getting myself two RPG books, one benig Blue Rose which is described as a romantic fantasy and sounds pretty cool and the other was RandomAnime. OMG that books is so cool and fun. I love the descriptions of Anime in it but won't write them just yet cause it would take me forever and a day. But pretty damn cool.

The only bad thing was that I was carrying my Kendo stuff in the backpack, my shinai bag (reminds herself that she needs to replace Shinai) and three bags of b/day presents and it was 4 o'clock. I decided to go to the cinema and see something and ended up seeing Fantasic 4. Not the best film ever made by a long shot and good was it long and half of it was not nessary. I'll admit that they got The Thing and The Human Tourch and Dr Von Doom perfectly but trying to add a complicated character storyline to the most simplest Marvel comic of the lot? Sorry I like character development a hell of a lot but I also like a bit of story with it and not for the good guys to stop the baddie in what 5 minuets? Even Spiderman took a little more time with that and I hated Spiderman to begin with.

I'll probably see a sequal - granted that they do actually make one with a plot line of the comic/series - but that ones on the bottom pile of my film likes. *shrugs* Not my type of film at all.

Anyway had tea and then went to Kendo. Here's why I said ouch at the start of my post...I had Darren (Sensai, 5th Dan), Gavin (4th I think), Dennis (3rd Dan) and Micky (whose grade I'm not sure about but is deadly fast) and only one other student - the chinese/korean lad - who was not in armour and me standing there going 'I'm so going to die'. And just to make it that extra bit perfect, we had four new people sitting watching. It wasn't too bad at first, then Gavin hit me with a pretty heafty Men cut and ouch. I thought it was just the shock that made me go ow, turns out it wasn't. I woke up the next morning with the headache that I got on the way home from it and my kendo went downhill cause I literally couldn't consentrait at all.

What makes this episode even funnier is the fact that Gavin said to the new one, "Oh that men cut I got on her didn't really hurt, it's just that I squeesd hard with my wrists" to which I agreed on. So when I got back next week I'm going to tell Gavin that in fact that cut did hurt I just didn't quite register it at the time and that I had a headache that lasted throughout the night.

Moving on

Saturday: Nearly didn't wake up cause my head was hurting so much but managed it and took two adadins and survived. Had Ahmed in histeric's over the book and we were joking on in our normal way. Prior to that though I had a load of calls cause flipping Peterlea helpdesk had gone down and green wing had not bothered to come across and tell me. I know that sounds a little stupid but Green Wing can quite clearly see that I'm alone in Orange Wing until four and I've got no one there at all, but since I'm nothing to do with them they don't bother with me. ¬_¬ I hate green wing.

On the upside I got one of the best damage report claims for a while:
Me: Retail Support, how can I help?
Retailer: Hi I've got a customer in store whose damaged his phone
Me: Okay, what happened so I can tell damaged team
Retailer: Well he was fixing his shower, whilst on the mobile phone, and he had the shower turned on to make sure it was working when the phone dropped and got went and now won't work.
Me: [trying to sound causual and not burst out laughing]Okay, I'll go through to Damaged department.

LMAO! That almost rivals the 'My two-year-old son has got hold of my phone and microwaved it'

Heh the randomness that is work.

Sunday/Today:

Had a lie in, watched a little telly, went out on the Trike with Dad in my Rossi jacket, came back, watched DragonDrive ep 3&4, watched Telly and had tea. Flight, Elvis and Carol came over and I came online - after clearing up the waterbowl that Flight knocked over.

And that's it.

Just a little update

Well not much has happened in the last week or so, just been mooching around and doing stuff and then going to work.

On the other hand I've finally decided that I'm gettin a Corsa! Woot! So just at the start of Sept I'll get one.
