The Holiday Diary - finally uploaded

Heh taken me a while to get this writen up but I'm going to start now and get it out of the way. Hope you don't mind reading tons cause there's a lot of it.

June 17th

First day of the holiday. I'm knackard.

Since yesterday I've had about six hours sleep which is quite good compared to my parents who have probably had about six hours between them.

We left at midnight from ours and got to the same tescos as last time at about 9am. Had breakfeast and went to Portsleven which is a great little sea-side working harboure that I love to go to.

The only small problem is that it is rather hard to waste time when you want to waste time. Couldn't get into the caracvan till 2:30pm so plently of time to kill. Have you ever tried to kill time whilst waiting to go somewhere?

Spemt our time mooching in a bookshio, having a drink - apparently its sacrilege to put blackcurent in Scrumpy - and then sat in a layby listening to 'The Lord of the Rings' radio soundtract.

Get into the site, got the linen and into the caravan which is nice and roomy - plus I can fit on the bed.

Parent's are taking naps and I think I will too.

8pm

Well Just finished watching Dr. Who and totally enjoyed that ep.

Dads walking around in his undies whilst waiting on mam getting out of the shower. As per usual I've got a patch of sunburn but it was bound to happen.

10:30/11:00pm

Just got back from an Italians in Penanze which was georgous but extremely filling.

Got to get up tomorrow at a undefined time cause Dad's being indecive.

Anyway sleepy time.

June 18th

Well a very fine start to Fathers Day. Got up after Dad and Mam but I don't think either of them minded.

Gave Dad his present of Classic FM at the Movies and Forbidden Planet on DVD which was well recieved.

Cooked for the first time on a gas hob which was interesting and the eggs didn't go entirely to plan but not bad for first go.

Going to go shopping with Mam - after putting on sunblock - and can't wait till tonight.

June 19th

Didn't get much of a chance to update but nevermind.

Yesterday we went for a run and I decided to go down towards this lovely beach - which I got some pretty pictures of - that was down a fairly easy looking path. What a muppet I was! It was pretty steep, treatorus and rather unsteady but so much fun. The beasch was gerousous and Mum was pretty glad to see me as I had disappeared from sight for ten minuets and she was worried that I had fell. Dad was too though he won't admit it.

Adfter that went to the place I called a couple of you from last time and paddled in the Atlantic sea. To say cold is an understatement but it was still fun.

Came back and got changed into my black dress which was great and then we got a little lost trying to find Fifteen. As in the Jamie Oliver Resturant. We asked a couple of guys at a campsite who directed us into the campsite. Cornish bastards/twats - and then told us the right way.

It was an interesting expereince, treid some odd dished and not entirely my sort of thing but something different to do. Ended up quite merry after drinking half-a-bottle of rose and got home and fell fast asleep.

Today I got a lie in and then had breakfast. Going to go to the pool in a little while which is going to be fun. Seh Seh like the pool!

11:30pm

Well the pool was okay, only 1.1 metres deep at the deep end but other than that can't really complain. Whilst waiting to get into the pool me and mum played on DDR which was cool and then spent about eight or nine goes on a crane machine.

Ended up with an England Elephant and Lione for our troubles though.

Went for a drive around again, had some fish and chips and ended up eventually on the beach opposeite St Michaels Mount.

Came back, watched TCV and wrote one of my story ideas down. The other is just beginning in my head right now so we'll see how it goes.

Off to sleep now and I', on breakfast tomorrow.

June 20th

Well my breakfast was good and nothing bad to report about it. Dad only had to be told to shut up a few times as well which was good.

Not sure what we're doing today yet, I'm going to get some tripple A batteries cause my MP3 player won't play at the mo. otherwise we could end up anywher.

Have money this time so don't need to worry about that which is good.

8:45pm

Well talk about an interesting day. I've been all over the place with Mam and Dad and am quite happy to be back in the caravan.

We headed out to Boscatle, the place where the massive floods happened a couple of years back. Great place, not quite as pretty as Portsleven but still very nice. Went rount the witchcraft musuem which was great and fasinating. One of these days I am going to have a proper look at witchcraft - not because I'm looking to become a witch or anything before you all start running for the hills thinking I'm going to put curses on you or such like - because it is something fasinating and would give all sorts of ideas for stories and stuff.

Went into the shops and bought mam a lovely pair of earrings and Dad a wolf buckle which were well received. Got a Pentagon Pendent set in a turquoise background. Also a bit of hand advice 'A Piksey can't do a man no harm if his raincoat is inside out'. Then went to Bude which wasn't anything special and go ice creams even though its cold.

Then headed to Padstow which was in the process of being closed up as it were after 5 but there are plenty of shops that appear to have a load of hear thats my type of thing so I will be heading back that way when we next go.

Thenn went for a chinese meal which was nice but nothing special. Finally got back to th caravan and according to my fourtune cookie 'Out of the lucky, you are the chosen one'.

Hopefully going surfind tomorrow and I'm also going to send postcards. Need to get some addresses, so out with the texts.

June 21st

Boy I've been doing a lot today. Got up a bit late and had breakfast. Went to the shop to get number fo surf school and left an answerphone message to call me back. Headed down to the beach for a little bit of paddeling before going back to the caravan to change my shoes.

Headed down to Hayle to have a good old fashioned mooch around by myself. Didn't quite realise that it was three miles but got there relatively okay. Mocched around the shops and found a photogram which I will buy later on.

Stopped at the Bakery and had some sausgaue rolls and a chocolate slice. Very nice and great fun. Parent's met me at lidels and we did a little bit of shopping before returning. Bought some postcards and stamps earlier on. Finished writing them out just before writing in this diary. I will post them off asap. currently listening to Dr Who Exploration Earth and thinking of tkaing a nap.

7:35pm

Well seven cards sent off, need to send one to Chu-chan later on. Sorted out going surfing tomorrow, need to be up prior to 8am in the morning to find out where we will be doing the lesson.

Been watching a bit of telly, listening - *fass about laughing as Dad randomly yells TEA!* - to my MP3 plater as I got the batteries. Been writing down ideas and currently listening to Burtely Wooster 'What ho, Jeeves' Series. Mum's making tea, I'm sitting sitting writing in my dirary and Dad's driving me mad over the name of the series.

June 22nd

It's 8:25am and I've already had breakfast and ready to go surfin. Currently listening to Classic FM and its the theme from Indianan Jones 'Da da da, da da daaaa' yeah you all know it.

Just waiting to call the guy and then we'll be off as mum is giving me a lift.

9:50pm

Well ended up on the sea about 10 minuets from the site. OMG I've never had so much fun or been soo bloody knackard.

Surfind is so much fun and challenging which is great and fantastic. I even managed to get to shore completely on my knees which is fantastic. I aint no surfing babe yet but I am a dudette which makes me smile.

Got high sunurn on my hands, feet and face. so I look a bit like a very odd gollywog. But it was worth it though.

Pratically fell asleep straight away when we got back and woken by mum who wanted to take a photo of me. Went back to sleep for about an hour and got up for some tea.

Watched a documentary on pluto not being a planet and I am quite please to say that I was there at Nasa when the rocket took off on it's ten year journey - unfortunetly we missed the actualy take off becasue we didn't know that there was a launch. But we were told by the bus driver and next year it will be ten years which will be interesting. Around September/October time.

Currently watching Mastermind trying to answer the general knowledge round. Got one about Tiger Woods which makes me feel good.

June 23rd

My arms hurt like hell, worse that the first few times I did kendo. Seriously I've got almost cramp in both my shoulders and pain running down my arms.

So it hurts.

1:26pm

Currently in the caravan. Had sausage sandwiched for breakfast and been writing down ideas whilst listening to my MP3 player.

Dad's been asleep and mum is reading her book and I've read a bit more of mine. I think we're goign out soon which should be good.

21:30 approx

Well have been out today and all sorts of different places.

Went to Falmouth which is an interesting place, one weird place. Filled with art students and I mean the art students that you see in their weird little groups with their black underclothes and horrible bright colours who sit and talk about stuff they believe is the only thing they understand. Generally that's true if rather stereotypcal (and I'm a media studnet so the art students aren't held in that great steed anyway - well photography studnets at least)

But found a fantastic ship called 'More Music' which sold all sots of heavy metal merchandice, for bloody excellent prices. T-shirts, buckles, posters, CDs, DVDs and even stationary. I got two Irong Maiding notes books, a pencil case and a folder all for £18. Whic makes me feel happy.

The rest of the place was just wierd.

Then went to the car sales which was a bit boring but I was sitting listening to LOTRs and the soundtrek *shouts at Dad for talking about Star Trek* soundtrack!

The tea we had was nice bar we had to wait 50 mins for it.

Finished watching Grumpy Old Women and currenly watching The Friday Night Project. Going to write out two more cards.

Forgot to mention that I got hte 'Asterix and Cleopatra' comic which is great.

((the rest will appear later))

Hehe, hi folks

Yup I'm home safe and sound and have a lot of stories to tell and things to write up. Got a long long update covering the two weeks of my holiday coming up, just need to find a lot of time to get the diary and go from there.

Hopes you've all been okay and speak soon
