The Good with the very Bad

Well this week has been rather harsh and very interesting, in a bad way. It's nothing to worry about though, all I'm going to say on the matter is don't run from something that will come back harshly at you and in the worse case sensario I'm going to end up getting a bus pass to get back and forth to uni. If you want to know the full version you can get in contact with me but it's nothing so big, even though it feels like it is. Though I'm getting over the inital shock. But that's all I'm saying here about it.

On the plus side I've had some excellent news this week, one of my scripts is going to be turned into a film by a couple of my uni mates which is cool as the mini script for si was going nowhere fast and as I've got my pitch coming up soon it was a good idea. It's the Reactions 'Pyscho Dad' one which will be dead fun to see once it's all done so I'm happy about that.

Also took a day off on Friday, after messing up making cookies and scones though they turned out to be rather tasty afterall. So no kendo reports this week and work's been okay.

Now to getting back on with my life.

Torchwood

Wheee that series is tres cool and has everything down right. Yeah for the brits doing good science fiction again *dances around in all her media joy*

Well, besides from that it's been an interesting week again with a lot of slouching around after getting a load of work out of the way. I'll be playing catch up with it all soon but most of it's negotiable so I'm not too worried. I've got a pitching session coming up tomorrow so I'm going to get that sorted out and most of it's aok. Need to speak to Si about the ending of Choices and get that sorted and then I can get stuck into writing the script for that which will be a good thing. Also been doing my theory and research readups which has been a good thing.

Kendo on friday was mucho fun, had Mick Taylor teaching us. The guy whose always taking the mick out of girls kia's. So an hour and a half of doing big stylised Ki-hon Keigo - basically the whole deal of I've got ya, you ain't going to beat me and I'm going to knock you down with so much power and grace you won't know what hit you. It's also great for me as it's the grading kendo I've got to do come March anyway. So all's good though I was shattered and did a really hard Kirry Kiash (or Kitty Kishas as I used to call it) which I've not done since my last grading.

Social life has been good, been spending time chatting onto peeps online and getting about a bit more than I have done over the last few weeks. The RPG society is turning out really cool and I've got a few good mates there already...and signed up to a WFRPG and another DnD campain to boot too. Of course I managed to go the long way round to find St Cuthberts but nevermind.

Work hasn't been too bad of late, not the best thing going at the moment but I don't really mind too much. Looking forward to dropping my hours come the start of November *dances*. Had lost of fun on Saturday when the systems broke for around two and a bit hours which was mucho fun as I got to chat onto peeps and found that Philip wants to be a writer, one of the coaches is a anime/manga fan and I surprised the lads by talking about motorbikes and moto gp. All good fun.

Oh and my Grunty arrived too at long last so I'm mucho happy *huggles him* I've named him sky due to the colour.

Well that's me off to go and do something else.

YingYang Week

Well this week has been a total mix of things. It's been a real strange one and I think I'm surprised I got through it all in one piece.

Just going to summerise as it's quicker and I've got stuff to do anyway.

The Bad - had a slight falling out with Dad on Tuesday over the car, basically I locked myself out of it whilst sorting out a problem and it was not very nice at all. Work was really worried about me cause I was totla shook up by something very silly that Dad said but it's over now so I'm not putting up too much about it. Also had a couple of insintese where I've been dropping things and just having a bad time with everything. Managed to hit myself in the face with a metal pole on wednesday too, I swear greenhouses are the most evil things in existance and don't like being dismanteled. Been tired and work was annoying as I'm still stuck in billing.

The Good - work supported me through the whole I'm upset over Dad thing which was really nice and then the next day I had to convince poor Lynnett that my Dad hadn't struck me across the face which was interesting to say the least. Made up with Dad fairly quickly for once, I think Mum probably had a bit of a go at him over it but I'm not sure. Ended up coming home early from work on Thursday after I locked myself out of my computer and Rich (sup) let me go without complaining which was a good thing. Made a batch of cookies which were a hit with everyone and watched some crappy telly which I enjoyed for once. Also went to the RPG Group today, managed to get lost trying to find St Cuthberts but got there and I've ended up in two new campains. Oh the joys.

Uni - it's going great and I've got my plot done for Dome which is a good thing, I think Peter will probably kill me as the outline is treatment length but it's not my fault and I had to cut a chunck out of the story. I'm going to see if I can make the script longer than 90 pages to get it in though. Theory hardly happened last week and A Passage to India is one of the most longwinded ways of telling a simple story known to man. Yes it's one of our great films but it's just long and takes forever to tell a plot that is not that hard to work out. Media Marketing was interesting too this week about funding and all sorts. Met up with Si too for Choices and working on that slowly but surely.

Heh life is fun at the moment. It's definately on the up which is a good thing.

And something for you all to ponder the meaning of, what sort of child would you get if a half-orc and a half-elf bread?

Lots of stuff

Well considering I went to another Limehouse Lizzie Concert tonight I thought it about time to update. The Concert was superbe and I loved every last minuet of it which was a really great thing. I swear they just keep getting better and better and better every time I see them. Went with Chu-chan and had a great time and a solid laugh. Even got them to sing Black Rose for Dad as he wasn't feeling too good.

Anyway I've been going through my uni work pratically every day and crazily I'm still enjoying it. Most of the plot of Dome (with an line on the e and it's my script for third year) is done so I should have that cleared away by monday and I need to meet up with Si on Tuesday to go through the script I'm writing for him. I may end up doing another one for GTS but don't know as of yet.

A funny thing happened on Tuesday's theory letcure, we all told the photography students to 'Shut the Fuck up' really loudly cause they were gabbeling on whilst we were trying to finish a lecture which was great fun. Serves them right for nicking our room and being annoying little weeds. No, media students do not like Photography students and probably never will.

Mam's been into hospital again this week but is out and about now and her hips been replaced finally. She's in a fair amount of discomfort at the moment whilst she waits on everything settling down but otherwise she's same old mam. Just board and annoyed that she can't do half the stuff she was just getting back. Dad's okay too, though a little on the ill side though he's trying to hide it and just poddleing along at the moment.

Gran's been around a couple of times...to say I've been doing my uni work on the coffee table is not an understatement.

Works being work at the moment. I finally get avaiblity and they bung me into billing call cque. So I have to spend all mine time online listening to them whine on about their bills and nothing else. It's monotnouse and annoying, partically when they start complaining they've been waiting for ages and it's not good customer service when I'm like 'Well no one forced you to stay in the cque and your whinging is making some other poor sod wait longer to get through to me' though I can't really say that. Damn Asat.

Kendo's been really fun recently and they've got me doing Kei-hon which is the big proper style which I love. Bill the Greek is back with us *huggles him* and it's all going good. I will be going for my grading again in March - Baka I will be calling you about that nearer the time - as I can't make the december one due to it falling on the second last week of the semester. Unfortunately Bo's gone home but he got me a really lovely farewell gift and I need to send him some pictures for that.

Well there ya go.
