Christmas Merry

Belated Merry Christmas - I can't recall if I wished everyone one on my last update but nevermind.

Anyway I had a good Christmas and got a lot of nice things, mum and dad liked their presents and we watched some good movies and stuff. Had Gran over but meh it wasn't that bad *twitch*

Generally hyper at the mo, it's the Coke I swear, and looking forward to new year.

Boo! Hisss!

Hehe, Panto's are so much fun. Loved the one last night. It was on at the theatre royal and was old fashioned style with good humour, a lot of adult jokes and a messy scene! A proper one too! With plates. So much fun.

I've got a stinking cold too, hence why my grammar and wording isn't as fluent as it normally is. Yuk. What makes it better is that Dad's just getting over his, Mam's caught it and I'm just starting to get the worst of it. So all fun that way...not.

Been getting on with my uni stuff too, got a load of the way which is a good thing. Inc my essay for theory (which I'm doing the second draft for after this).

Been watching a bit of telly, going to work and putting up with customers and just feeling a bit lousey. Keep an eye out for me on Christmas Eve everyone who hasn't got their presents yet cause I'll probably be delivering them as there doesn't appear to have been a get together, unless it happened and no one told me.

Anyway, gotta to and blow my nose now. I hate being ill!

the weekend

Well I got to my tutorial on Thursday with little hassel and it definately looks like I will be going to London to do my masters degree which will be an interesting thing. I generally mooched about on Thursday getting some of the uni work done as I needed it but okay.

Friday I got up, got sorted and then went to Hexam with my parents for a Chinese, some shopping and to see Bond. Really enjoyed the new version and seriously girls the new bond is hot with a capital H. It's not the best thing in the world but it's gone back to basics and proper stunt men are used and it looks a thousand times better than crapy CGI. So yeah a fun day there and got Kelly's birthday present which surprised me but it's sorted which is a good thing.

Saturday I had work and then spent the night watching films and just chilling out. Nothing particually exciting there. But did discover that my Uncle Harry (The Whities Dad) has got bowl cancer which is what my Grandma Elliot got so that put me in a bit of a downer and plus the fact that I have to return a flipping phone for an upgrade when they're charging 225 quid for it which is another pain in the arse so I wasn't exactly in the best of moods with that. But meh.

Sunday I got a lie in, went with Mam to shaws and got the christmas tree which doesn't need anything cut off it in any way shape or form and we got it into the car without knocking my rear-view mirror off which was a good thing. Then went to say hi to the boys at the RPG group and mum thinks they're great fun. Then went home, got changed and went to the arean to see Iron Maiden who were really cool, though singing the entire new album got a bit annoying but the big eddy was cool and they did eventually get around to the old school stuff which was mega mega cool. Also got to meet up with Ahmed, Kallers and Chibi and catch up with them which was a cool thing. Introduced Battle Royal to Kallers and Chibi too and had to drive them home at nearly 1 in the morning with frost all over the place. Not biggy though.

Today I got underway with my theory essay and got 1,553 words written of it which I'm happy about and I will be plodding along with the rest of it soon. Work was okay but meh it's work and I got my kendo renewal sent off too which is great.

And that's that.

All the rest

heh been a bit busy with stuff so forgot to post once again but nevermind.

Anyway, Kendo on Friday was a thousand times better than last week. Got a session with Mick who made us do things really slow and with pricise movements which is a lot harder than battering the shite out of each other - sounds crazy don't it? - but it was jsut what I needed and I went to the pub afterwards which was a very good thing. Spent ages chatting onto peeps that night I think but went to bed happy.

Saturday was work followed by going to the Chinese as Katheline and Micky were over - parents mates who I know - and finding out the order had been put through wrong and then ending up getting the next one up which turned out to be okay but a bit of a strange thing. Spent most of my time upstairs playing on the PC.

Sunday I slept in and then spent most of the day watching films being Charlies Angels Full Throttle and a couple of others which are escaping my mind at the moment. Started wrapping up presents too and only got a couple done.

Monday I woke up after a long lie in and did a load of work for my Media Marketing booklet as well as a bit of theory read up and planning for the essay and got two of the sequences done for Dome so a good day. Work was okay and pretty normal and the wind was being a hassel to drive in.

Tuesday I was up earlier than usual as the parents were going to the doctors and got to theory with no problems. Watched The Butcher Boy which is a quirky but really fasinating Irish film that I highly recommend - yes I know I recommend everything but this I really do - so if you ever get the chance watch it. Went to The Big Shops to get some stuff sorted and then went home, ate ten ton of junk and went to work. Gah! Wingers United were in full throttle mode but it became a fifty fifty split really and a lot of my customers were really happy with me.

Today I had another long lie in - I really hate it when you get a heavy one (girls will understand this) as it knackers me up something rottern. But I did get all the presents wrapped up and discovered I've missed one so I will be getting that tomorrow. work was okay and a couple of crazy calls but otherwise a normal night.

Tomorrow got to go to the Big Shops to get the stuff I need and then go for a tutorial for Media Marketing and then I'm finished for the first semester. SCARY!

Heh another update

I swear that I'm just updating with stuff now but it's slightly easier and plus I've been bouncing around sorting stuff out so this makes Ryu-chan very happy indeedy ^_^

Yesterday saw Nightmare Before Christmas 3D and so cool. Exactly the same movie as I knew (and can sing in all my happy geekdom) just with a lot of depth added and some nice little 3D bits. Not all of it worked but that was mainly due to the fact that the film wasn't originally made to be a 3D movie but it still looked mega cool.

Sending off Baka-chan's and Dash-kun's presents today (Christmas for Dash and 21st B/day + Christmas for Baka) and then going to kendo.

Shopping Shopping Shopping

YES!!!

Done all my Christmas Shopping today, totally and utterly done in about three and a half hours. That's a bloody record for me as usually it takes a little longer than that. Actually a lot longer. But I'm happy with everything I've got, need to send some stuff through the post which will happen sometime soon - probably Fri cause I'm el Kanckoed right now. I love Royal Keys!

Hehe Baka's 21st Birthday presents also turned up so I'll be getting them sent soon too ^_^

Volf

Don't ask about the title, it's a idea I'm working on and I just like the sound of the word.

Anyway, ignoring my last post, I've got some time so I thought I'd better update.

Uni - tiring but fun as usual. Had a tutorial with Peter about Dome and need to give it a facelift but that's not too bad. Spent time on my theory work and going to get more things sorted out as time goes on. Had Si, Lee and Mark around mine today doing a location shoot which was fun and getting on with things for Best of Bubs.

Work - has been work, normal routine there.

Social life - been out to the cinema again, this time to see Flushed Away. Good film with loads of references and definately british. Middle part is a bit crappy but the rest makes up for it. Recommend it highly. Would have gone Christmas shopping on sunday but with the winds and the rain I thought the better and stayed at home watching films all day. Also went to the pub on Thursday night which was fun and we do suck at the pub quiz.

Kendo - I went last friday and had a really bad session. I think I was far too tried from doing a load of uni work and maybe shouldn't have gone but in the end it was a lot of laughs.

Gah, short and sweet cause I'm getting a headache.

Lists and more Lists

Yeah, I owe an update.

Like the others though I've got stuff to do so I'm guessing it'll be about the weekend before I get a chance to properly sit down and do one.

Might wrangle some time during the week, don't know.
