erm...can I say oopse to updating?
Gah, sorry everyone I've been so busy this week that I have simply not had the time to update at all. Still Here We Go -
Monday - what didn't I do? Was in uni at 9 to get on the Avids (editing systems) to try and get the bloody animations ontoDVC pro tape and then onto Quicktime format. Needless to say we first of all didn't have the DVC pro tape, had to borrow one from animation department, then have an argument with the machine to get it to record from the DVD to the DVC pro tape, once we got it on we had to record the bloody thing twice, then export it out of the time line and onto CD *looks around as the tumbleweed goes by* Yeah, you wont know what I'm on about. Okay after we'd sorted that out (Me, Graham and David that is)went to meet Jill (the lass I'm doing the documentary on) and we had to go over to Newcastle Uni Union as she got a little lost. She's really a canny lady and it was great fun talking to her and getting all of the information that we needed. Then mooched back to Uni and filled out a request form for the equipment that we needed to hire out and then went through a two hour letcure on Production Practise which was interesting as we had all the roles defined to us, then went to work for usual four hour shift and then had tea and went to bed.
Tuesday - went in for avid workshop and went through exporting stuff off the timeline (which was a little annoying considering I had just done it yesterday) and then met up with Rob and Graham (and Simon when he showed up) and we went through the basic plans for our documentary. Once that meeting was over I came home, wrote the script for the documentary, went to work, texted Si to remember to take my disc in tomorrow, came home, had tea, checked mails to find that Graham Denman (letcurer) wasn't going to be in on Wednesday so I could've kept it myself.
Wednesday - was up early and I drove - yes you did read that right - I drove to Sunderland and went for my meeting about the means test which Connections finally got a move on with (after I called them like). Went through a series of tests and stuff and in the end I'm getting a printer for my laptop, a portable book scanner (which will read the book too me), a MP3 dicata phone, Read and Write software for the computer and a portable electronic dictionary ^_^ So I is very happy. Came home and fell asleep for four-six hours which I really needed and was so thankful of cause I started to feel human again ^_^ Went to work and came home to find an e-mail from Graham to say that the discs could be handed in to Lipman and into his pigeon hole. ¬_¬
Thursday - even though the letcure was cancelled - Graham was ill bless him - I was in to talk to Noel about theory and to meet Si to get the discs in. Noel wasn't there so we'll have to re-arranged for the first week back, handed in the discs all okay, checked my pigeon hole and found we had the request back and all authed so I could get the stuff tomorrow. Went to go home and met Kamo for a few minuets, we walked towards the bus stop and then he had to go his lecture. I returned home and did something (can't remember what) no wait went easter shopping that was it ^_^ Got some stuff then went home and chilled out for the rest of the day. Went into work mega early to get the sticker for the car - basically the thing me and Dad fell out about - and got the thing. It took me two minuets if that ¬_¬ well at least its there now. Went through work, helping Lisa (new starter) out whenever I could and annoying Ahmed my mate there. Came home, had tea, watched a bit of Dirty Harry and went to bed.
Friday (aka Today) - got up, was in for 9.30 for a 121 with Ian (another letcurer) and found out that my proposal got 12/15 which I'm mega happy about considering I had no real clue as to what the hell it was meant to actually say or be. Then went to go and get Grandma a easter present as I had forgotten to get it yesterday. Ran into Kamo and we spent a good cople of hours together and he treated me to lunch *huggles madly* and then I had to leave to go and get the equipment that I had requested. Poor Rob's got stuck with it in his room, but we needed somewhere to store it and his is the best place. bless him ^_^ and then I came home, had a little bit to eat, walked the dog, did the upstairs, walked dog again, had shower and then came online to update blog.
Off to Kendo tonight and then got a Beatles tribute tomorrow which should be mega fun ^_^
Well keep safe and happy people, Baka you've got a letter/package on it's way to you so keep an eye out for it and remember 'Being Human, Having your health, that's the important thing' ^_^

Hey. I know I don't often get the chance to talk to you much, but I look forward to the time where we can sat down and have a talk together-sort-of-like.
As for the quote.... um... long shot, but I seem to remember Charlie Sheen's character in Ferris Bulears Day Off saying something similar so I'm going with that.
Hope Kendo was enjoyable.
