Well today I offically finished Uni.

I've completed one year of study...it's a very scary feeling to realise that you've just done a years work and it doesn't even feel like it.

And to think of all that has happened in said year!!! I mean, Freshers Week, going to Kendo, getting on the course, making my first 10 second animation, making a load of new friends, the cosplay parties, Starlight Express, 2 theory essays, a website (though not that good granted), a boyfriend, high stress, getting made a director for my first five minuet documentary and managing to survive it all whilst going through several changes at work...

IT'S VERY SCARY!!!!

Still, it's all done now and I can look forward to some time off - where I'll be more than likely bored - and going through my script books which have been sent today ^_^

However I can now start my own little countdown:

The life that I need to update

Well, I've been a bit busy recently but here we go with the update.

Uni:

Well what can I say? My coursework's all handed in, Theory on Tues after it got edited together to actually make sense, Documentary was already it, Tech got finished and is not online after I had an argument with WSTP transfer server to get the bloody thing online so that's all cool and done. the tech test went okay the other week and on wednesday I had the screening with my parents which was very fun ^_^ Only got Avid editing test next wed and then I'm done...that's rather scary. Also did the presentation of the 25 shot movie, which we entitled 'Is This a Normal Kind of Bunny Love?' and we got some good laughs out of it which I was mega happy about ^_^

It's hard to think that I've only been at Uni 1 academic year, no way in hell does it feel like it.

Home:

My parents are talking again, things are back to normal - or as normal as they can get for us anyway ^_^ - and it's all plodding along nicely. Dad's going on about painting the fence again this summer which I'm quite looking forward to in a funny kind of way. Today I was lazy and didn't get up till 12:10 and then had a bath but it was the first time in a while that I could actually just do that ^_^

Work:

Well the call quese are back up and Maintain A is feeling the brunt of it. Most of the new starters from six/seven months ago have been moved to the billing que but no one really thought of the impact that we would end up getting. It's proving to be not that bad, bar me and Ahmed don't get to talk to eachother much when he's in now :-(.

Scripts:

Well I finally got my arse moving on them, mainly after Ahmed became one of the fans of Revenging Nights and is demanding that a cartoon series of some sort gets made out of it. So I'm trying to get there and hopefully I will, but I've decided to get the storyline done in rough, work on the characters profiles and then get them all on the go ^_^

And that's that. Hopefully I'll get a better update soonish

After the day I've had, I'm in need of a long drink

Well today has been interesting to say the very least.

Ended up running into Uni at 10am as me and Graham had to sort out the DVD as it wouldn't play. After aruging with Gillian (one of the techs) that the machine would finalise everything automatically I called Chris and got the information on how to finalise the damn thing and did it. Great, they played in the cinema (our letcure room) but no sound, tried another, same result, spent ages doing another which was a re-writer disc, ended up running down stairs in a bit of a state cause I was worried that we could show them the images but no sound. In walks Noel, checks the amp and says 'oh someone's been pratting on with this and turned it off', flicks a switch and it works. I hugged Noel - literally - and then went through the interview for the documentary.

Generally they said it was good, just that the interviews look a little crap, and that for a first go at directing I did quite well to keep the group together (with Graham's help). Also it was quite funny when mam called me just at the start and of course my ringtone is twilight zone (quite appropriate really). Called mam back after the interview and got a lift home from her.

Helped Dad finish the backgarden, watched Saiyuki <-^_^-> and then went to work. Work was busy but reasonable. Came home and my parents are in another scrap with eachother, this time over the break lights being out on mam's car. neither of them are talking to eachother, dad's saying he told mam to take it a while ago to get fixed, mam's saying she'll miss her course tomorrow to get it fixed and I'm kinda trying to hide whilst appearing neutral and asking not to be dragged into this.

It's really annoying when they do this but I suppose it was due to happen. Hopefully this'll blow over soon - if not I'm escaping as much as possible. heh it'll blow over sometime soon but until then I'll just play it safe.

Ahmed: [talking to a customer about infer-red on the handset]Look you have to make sure that the handset you're doing it with.... (he nearly killed me when I started laughing at that remark)

Uni:

Noel: Were you the lot who were here when I got in trouble with the room checkers? (aka people who randomly look into the rooms to see when they are being used)
Someone: No
Noel: Well - rant I can't quite recall - and I had just said f**k off and the guy just opened the door at the exact same minuet

Quick update

Well this isn't a proper update at all but I had to write down that I had a very good day today ^_^

My printer finished off the photo's for my Script Stuff, I did the back garden, .Hack//Legend of the Twilight - A New World Disc 1 arrived, I handed in my Documentary stuff, got my html essay done but forgot the passwords and stuff for it (shame, I'll fix that later though), drove to work, work was reasonable and got 12 pops!!!! AND MY LAPTOP IS FINALLY HOME!!!! YEAHNESSSS!!!!!

No I haven't died

Okay, sorry about the long update but I've been a bit rushed off my feet lately.

I will update asap but I've got an assignement due in for thursday and a half-day editing today so this was just a note to let you know I will be updating (hopefully) sometime soon but I don't know when.
