Me: I was nearly killed by a Ka today
Mam: Really?
Me: Yeah, I was going down the coast road and where the Garage is there was a button blue Ka sitting on the end of the severons obviously waiting to pull out but I couldn't stop cause I didn't have the time to and when I'm almost on top of him he pulls out suddenly and drives off, I have to slam the breaks on and drop down a gear to stop myself getting killed and I yelled at him w***ker!
Mam: I know the hits of the year
Me: What?
Mam: I found a website where you can enter in 'Hit's of such-and-such a year' and you can get the top 100 songs of that year
Me: What the hell has that got to do with me nearly getting killed with by a blue Ka?
Mam: [bursting into laughter] I don't know
Me: [whilst laughing] Here's me talking about nearly getting killed or killing the stupid prat in the car and you suddenly start talking about music. Talk about the best random topic change ever
Mam: Well I just remembered it
