Fences and Date

Well, just got in from a date with Wayne and watched the end of the fifty greatest 1 hit wonders and 'Everyone Was Kung-foo Fighting' was number one which had me and mam in hysterics cause we were doing the 'huh' bit with the poses - come on everyone must have done it in the past, surely?

Anyway, this week I've been mainly working on the fence as some random guy kicked it in and now tis all fixed. Amzingly me and Dad only had a very mild and rather minor dispute about me accidentally snapping the drill bit off which is exceptionally good going for us.

Also been doing coursework with my Theory essay now pratically down to it's correct word count but it's going to get attacked one more time and tidied up which should be okay. And the Work Experience folder is in, which includes the essay which is well over the word count, my diary, my camera logs, all the contacting companies I did prior to doing the work experience, my CV, covering letter, the information I got about the project I worked on and my contract for the company. Yeah it's got pratically everything in it. Didn't want to give them the tapes or CDs cause that would be pointless - even though tape six is now none-existent because I lost it at the school. Got a tutorial for Scripts on tomorrow (as it's 00:19 right now) so I'll be getting both of them properly sorted after that point in time.

Kendo on Friday was a lot of fun, met up with Kallers prior and we had a good old fashioned girly chat about live the universe and everything and then popped in to see the boys for a little while and then she went home and I went to Kendo. All I can say in ernest is 'oww', cause it was a good session with a lot of stuff to do and work on but I ended up in a lot of pain mainly as I was correcting my bad footwork and having to get used to a slightly new style. Plus Darren made us do Kei-gary-geigo (pratice fighting) for half the session which really didn't help. But still it was mucho fun.

Work's been fairly okay of late, nothing major to report there.

As stated at the start of this post, went out on a second date with Wayne tonight and I had so much fun! We went to the Silverlink for dinner and a movie and chatted on for ages, then played on the game machines at the silverlink. I have lost faith in the dance machines saying that everything is easy. Both of us could barely keep up with the thing, let alone manage the single game. It was still a laugh though, and definately a funny memory to look back on. Prior to playing on the machines we had gone to Pizza Hut and totally mis-judged the time as we were out but 7:30 and the film didn't start till 8:50.

We opted to see 'Silent Hill' and I totally recommend it. Unlike the Resi evil movies, it actually keeps to the idea and the settings. Great acting and it's not trying to be scary, it's just trying to be creepy and it does it suprisingly well. One I will be buying when it's nice and inexpensive. But otherwise I had a really good night out and was spoilt rotten by Wayne *squees and bounces a little*

Anyway, that's it.
