Target Pratice/Hobgoblin Branch of Amature Dramatics
Well everyone knows I really love kendo but nothings more fun than being singelled out as the Target Pratice by your Sensei and going full out for five minuets - or more I'm not quite sure - to ensure that you beat the living smeg out of everyone you face. Darren and Mick decided that I was going to beat the lads into submission which was quite an odd experience or it could have just been a telling off for not turning up last week I'm not sure. It was mucho fun and I managed to score a Men cut on Mark, get two draws between Andrew and the new guy who've I need to learn the name of and I got a kote on Mick. Now considering the fact that he's one of the hardest teachers I'm bloody surprised I managed that, but he left himself open and I just took it before he realised what had happened. Mucho mucho coolio! Then Darren bounced me around but I managed to block him a bit which is a good thing, glad I'm not going to Momishi's or else I wouldn't have been allowed to stop.
Work on Saturday was interesting, dealt with a few strange customers including one guy who was on the phone for an hour about a bill and was either high on something or a little drunk because all the previous notes on the account said he had been rude and nasty about the problem but was nice as ninepence with me and was dealing with about four things at once. Just a very strange character. Learnt that on my team - the new one - I've got Shabina, Thersa and Amos so alls good there and made friends with some of the others too. Watched El Marichi on saturday night and that is one hell of a film, loved the remake Desperado too and they used the same bar (bet Mamo will be the only one who gets that)
Today Gran came over and mum started going through her old photo collection to write names on the back of the pictures she had gotten over the years. I'm going to hunt out mine and get them into a few photoalbums with names on the back and also put the digital ones into folders - copied - so that I can remember whose who and what's what and when's when. Managed to disappear to the RPG group shortly after and had a good old fashioned DnD session with the lads. Patch nearly killed me for not turning up last week but there was nothign I could do about it. Anyway if anyones wondering about my rather odd title it came from the session as we had a bunch of Hobgoblins disguised as our characters who we had to fight at one point and my horse doesn't like hobgoblins as he criticed and whiped one out after charging which is very cool. So Richard - one of the players - came up with the quote "Local Amature Dramatic's Society: Hobgoblin brach" hence the title.
Got the pitch tomorrow for uni and then I can start getting down to a load of proper work for my script and all that jazz. And the theory read up I need to do.
^_^
