A sunday of sleeps, manga and films
Well today has been the nice, happy, quiet relaxing one that I have been promising to myself to have for about the last three and a bit weeks.
I got up - finally - at 12:05 (roughly) and had a nice long steepy bath (true after I had an argument with the hot water tap cause it wouldn't work for about five minuets) and read 'From Far Away' which was one of the manga's I got in Glasgow. I was expecting it to be one of those one's where an ordinary highschool girl got teleported to another fantasy dimension and suddenly turned out to have magical powers for the good of that place (okay it did turn out partly like that) but what I was not expecting was the fact that the two main characters - Noriko and Izark - cannot understand eachother cause they are speaking different languages and apparently the Awakening (Noriko arriving at wherever they are)is meant to summon the darkness within the people who populate that area...yeah I'm just as confused and the gits have left it at a right annoying cliff hanger and I soooooooooo want to know what's going to happen next but I need to get the next book. Annoyance. Guess what I'm going to be scowering FP and TM for every time I go in...knowing my luck they'll have every other one. (Still it gives people an idea of b/day presents if they get stuck closer to the time ^_~)
I think I'm going to follow this series - I'm totally curious as to what is going to happen in it. Anyway back to stuff today....hehe
After I had had my bath and read FFA (yeahness) I took the dog for a walk and then ended up watching 'Treasure Island' on Sci-Fi - and trying to explain to my Dad why Treasure Island was being shown on Sci-fi is always fun cause he couldn't see how Priates are now classed as Fantasy - - those convo's are always quite fun --- though I still don't quite understand how they can put Fantasy and Science Fiction in the same catergory when Dragon's and Robot's are two completely different things is still a complete mystery to me --- and it was a good fun version as well though my dad kept asking me stuff forgetting the small fact that I have not read Treaure Island (I think my summer reading list is going to be massive)
Once we had watched that, me, mam and Dad proceeded to watch Ice Age and I,Robot and I had almost forgotten how good a film both of them were. I haven't watched Ice Age in a while and it is one of those happy feel good films that I somehow was really relating to...no idea as to why I was but heck I can say that if I want to *bounces to Love Hina music* and it's definatly on my high list of films to make you smile and be happy and have a laugh with - okay I'll stop scaring people now. I,Robot was as good as ever and I don't think I'll ever get sick of that film - probably read way too much of Asimov to spot all of the references but hey that what makes it really fun and yes I am a Sci-Fi freak but I don't care *bounces and runs around* AND I want that little cute dragon/reptile thing from the fill ins from Sci-Fi channel cause it's soooo cute and adorable...*stops and hides as people glare at her* GOMEN NASAI *turns into the puppy again*
Hehe I'll stop now.
Got to be up tomorrow to get into Uni to get a camera to make a two minuet film. Should be fun and at least I won't have it all day either.
Well going to go and do stuff and then bed and go from there. Catch ya all later *bounces off*
