"Life, don't talk to me about life. I'm not getting you down am I? I would hate to be getting you down"

Heh Marvin's got another quote today but I feel like I'm going to be ranting a lot so forgive me in advance.

Monday - was an average day, nothing really bad happened and all went swimmingly along fine.

Tuesday - got up, met Baka chan with the hyperactive Sweep who not only jumped all over me, also jumped all over her and went even more hyper whilst waiting for her to turn it. It was great to see Baka again and we talked on for a bit before I had to get home in order to go to Alan's with my Dad to get some software and advise on how to use it. Alan made it look quite simple and easy to organise. Got home, tried to load it on my laptop only to find that my laptop had now gone and got a nasty inky black blob on the screen - how is still a mystery to me - so made the first call to the company to get it fixed under it's warrenty and insurance. The first guy I spoke to couldn't speak English very well and I did not get far with him at all. Was asked how it happened and I said that I didn't know and the only thing I could think of was that possibly it had been stood on but I highly doubted that. Dad heard me say that and believed that I had said I had stood on it even though I do not remember doing so. Tried to load the program on the main computer and still had faults with it, called Gericom again and got someone who could understand English better and he was no problem at all. Arranged for the laptop to be picked up and fixed for Thursday. Mam came home early with a Samurai Sword from Geoff at work for me cause he had been doing a clean out so that was great. Drove the car to work and went through the usual routines.

Wednesday - got up and called Alan to try and get the computer working. Turned out that I had the wrong code and I just needed to set it up via the right click. Got that on then had a nightmare trying to connect my getoblaster to the computer so that we could record the story tape. Finally got that working after a few goes, which Dad was happy about, and then recorded Red Dwarf onto the computer. That was fine, then I couldn't get the recording to go onto CD. Gave up as I was running out of time and went to work for the usual stuff.

Thursday - got up early and went to the shops once again with Sweep with the intention of getting two bottles of wine (one for Geoff and one for Alan). Found that the leader had become completely knackard so I bought a brand new one and some photo ablums cause they were cheap and I remembered that I needed to print some of my photo's off from the computer. Came home and spent five hours or so trying to get the progam to work correctly. Ran virus checks cause the computer wouldn't shut off, tried to download the additional upgrade from the internet, the computer stopped reading CDs and I was starting to get seriously annoyed with the bloody thing until I accidently right clicked on the icon for the CD-rom and pressed open. It worked and I got it all sorted out in a matter of five minuets. To say that I was a tad annoyed was an understatment as Hiya, Kamo and Baka found out when I ranted on at them last night. Got the first two tapes onto one CD and it worked on everything we tried (thank god) so I finally escaped from the computer, took the dog for a walk, had something to eat, watched a bit of telly and then went to work. Got given a Free Inflatable Light Saber - work are doing a Star Wars day tomorrow so I'm cool - and it was literally 'every kid always wanted a light saber' (if you happened to like Star Wars) as the other teams started attacking each other with them and making the sound effects. Only Steve was around from my team and we were too far away to actually do anything like that but I hit my Dad with it on the head when I got home. Mum had come home early again so I got to drive the car there and back. Came online, made some thank you cards for Alan and Geoff and then went to bed.

Friday - got up (eventually) and cleaned the upstairs whilst listening/singing with Iron Maiden's Brave New World and then Moulin Rouge sound track - which I'm sure I've pinched off Dad but I don't know. Took the dog for a walk, had some breakfast, watched Loony toons and then came online. Gonna probably print off some of the pictures and then get ready to go to Kendo tonight since I skipped last week.

Well hope I didn't annoy you lot too much,

Enjoy yourselves
