There are two five's in one day?
Well to say the last few days have been interesting is a bit of a understatement. Here we go - at long last:
Friday - Wet and Wild was really fun, I totally forgot how much I enjoyed everything about it. And the others had a good time as well which was quite funny...mind I'm kinda worried about what my Dad is going to say when he see's the photo's as my beloveded is in speedo's (which I very much liked ^_^ *big mega blush*) and he's already made comments about it so honey I think your going to be in for some grilling when you next see him. Came home at about 6 and went online for a bit - I'm blaming Baka for getting me addicted to Gaia - and then went to bed.
Saturday - got up and went to work, got annoyed at the call cque cause it was way too busy for a saturday and I was thinking that people had way better things than to call and querry their invoices on a lovely sunny day - and I heard you laughing Kallers - but I did come away with twenty pops so I was mega happy by the end of it and me and Ahmed started planning the ending of RN so I have somewhere to steer the story towards (note 1 must write more of that). Came home, watched Dr Who and really enjoyed it ^_^ And Kal - in case you didn't see it - they haven't killed the Darleks off there's a whole bunch of them in the next ep and I think some Time Lords but I'm not 100% sure yet ^_^ so you can stop whining about them killing them all off. Then checked things and went to bed.
Sunday - was up at 5am (hence my title) and I drove from mine to Lancaster on the motorways from 6am till 9.30am when we got to my Uncle Jim's and Aunty Ann's house. Had breakfast and refushed to drive anymore that day for a damn good reason. Only had me in tears once and that was cause I didn't know what to do whilst over-taking this guy on the back winding roads which a) I have never really driven on b) I was getting shouted at by Dad and c) how the hell was I suppose to guage how far it was to the next turning when I couldn't see what was coming from said corner! Tears were split over that but generally it's fine (note 2 need to call Ken and arrange Pass Plus so I can learn all about this sort of stuff). We talked to Jim and Ann for some time and then went to see their other house which was supposed to be getting an extension but has ended up being totally re-built so it's actually bigger than ours and could easily swallow it three times. It's quite ironic cause Jim and Ann are quite small so they now have a bigger house what what we do. Quote Dad: "It's not the house that Jack built, its the house that Jim built".
We then went via the back roads (thank god I wasn't driving) and went to Kirkby Stephson and to the Devils Bridge (a place where a load of bikers meet every sunday) and mooched around quite happily. Had lunch, said goodbye to Jim and Ann and then went into the lakes and got into Windermere with no problems - which is unheard of - and mooched around before heading to Keswick, having some fish and chips (in case of my parents I was sat with my 7up quite happily. I wasn't hungry at all yesterday for some strange reason) and texted Kamo and Hiyaku to see how the tornament went. Hiya-kun called me back and we talked through things, before I was passed to Kamo-chan and we talked things over as well. Quote Hiya: "Hello you texted me? [responce and a bit of chatter] Hang on Kamo's sending you a text message. [my responce: why? I'm talking to you?]"
One I got off the call, I finally went and saw Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and my Dad was right about it being on par with Galaxy quest. A fun film when it actually gets going which is about half-an-hour into it and once the actors settle into the characters - the only one who doesn't is Zaphod cause they just play him totally wrong - and the story kinda takes it's own little twist so it works quite well. The opening bit is dire though and it just doesn't work at all. Still prefer the Radio/TV series but I'll watch it quite happily on the telly in a few years and buy it on cheepo DVD when I can. Quotes Me/Mam/Dad: [after watchin Zaphod randomly do something crazy on the wierd planet] Me: It's Hiya-kun Mam: That's what I was just thinking [when the crab has climbed out of the water and is leaping around going whee or whatever] Me: Please squash the crab. squash it. Please squash it. Now would be nice [it gets squished] Thank you! [in the sequence with the que on the vogon planet - Kal will get this more than anyone else I imagin] Dad:[nudging me] Whose that? Me: Who? Dad: [when he pop's up again] Whose that Ryu? Me: [realising] Yeah! It's Marvin! The original Marvin!!! [the bit where Arthur, Ford and Zahpod are getting hit by all of the metal things] Me: It's Kamo, Hiya and Mamo Mam: [laughs] [at the end and after] Me/Mam/Dad: [singing] "So long and thanks for all the fish. So long and thanks for all the fish. So long and thanks all the fish".
Ended up at home about midnight and went straight to bed and sleep.
Today: Got up at 13:00 (after the day I had it was understandable), and got sorted, had breakfast, walked dog, found out about the london trip, talked to Kal, called baka who was sitting next to kal (Kal your dead btw for that), checked out prices for trains and coaches, checked Gaia (note 3 need to do that), watched DS9, drove to work, had to pass some twit at 80 cause he kept on acelerating whilst I was passing him, got into work, got my computer unlocked (I had locked myself out of my account on Saturday in the last 40 minuets of my shift cause the keyboard when stupid), took my calls, ended up with nly 5 pops tonight but my presentation should be all right, came home (without said twit), had tea, got 'In the Hall of the Mountain King' off Dad (aka the Alton Towers theme tune and the one used on Corspe Bride trailer. and it's on repeat at the moment as well) and came online.
Well that's it, got some stuff to do tomorrow and hopefully Baka's first day at works gone okay.
Right, there ya go.
