Feelin 100% <- ^_^ ->

WHOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I am feeling so mucho better now ^_^ True I'm still a tad on the stressed side but no where near as bad as before!!!

Basically the key reason I've been stressed is that I thought I had the possibility of being 'up the duff' (just in case my Dad reads this) cause me and Kamo...*pauses* I think you'll be able to guess about that and I've been kinda terrified of it for a while.

I ended up in tears this morning cause everything just seemed to be going bad for me and i kinda had a bit of a bust up with Dad - not a major one just a little titchy one - and me and my mum ended up talking about it. When I got into Uni - mam gave me a lift in *huggles mam to death* - I talked a little bit to Si about what had happened (though not in full) and as the lesson drew to a close I was feeling more worried. Deciding to go and sort myself out I went to Superdrugs and bought one of their tests.

There was no way I was going to calm down until I actually had solid proof that I wasn't so I checked myself out. Turns out I have been worrying over abosuletly nothing, I'm not pregant and I was perfectly safe from everything (we did use protection as well so why I got flustered in the first place is a bit of a mystery) I had been worrying about.

After running to the bin to get rid of the kit - there was no way in hell my Dad was going to find it - and virtually screaming for joy I called my mum and left her an answerphone message and then called Kamo and talked to him about everything.

So I'm all in the clear, have a big load of stress off my shoulders and I can start getting my life pieced back together with strong superglue ^_^ Dad thinks I've gone insane cause I'm bouncing all over the place but I'm not going to tell him everything (or at least not for a very long time) and plus I've got him smiling again cause I got him a Gregg's and he still thinks I'm bonkers cause I tried to give him money for the fuel pump (as I said I would previously but he said he was joking. Don't quite believe him but it's nice to have my Dad back) and £20 which I owed him from a while back - even though he says I don't and I say I do - he didn't take the money so I'm going to buy the popcorn on Friday cause we're going to the cinema as a family instead of me going to Kendo cause things would've just been worse and even now it's not going to help me cause I'm bored out of my scull and want some fun in life!

And I can now look forward to the Bowling Trip on Sunday - even if it does just end up being three of us I don't care (sorry blokes this is a girly day out ^_~ Unless of course Hiya-kun gets stressed enough to turn into his catgirl form lol) I'm going bowling and I'm going to have a hell of a lot of fun doing it!!!!!!

*bounces off to go and freak Dad a bit more*

EDIT

Forgot to put in my random happy conversation I had with Mam earler today on the way in to Uni, the back end of peak time traffic and a bus came very close to hitting us

Me: Don't annoye Mr Bus
Mam: Well you have to just take it slow and hopefully someone will let you across eventually
Me: I know, but you still shouldn't annoye Mr Bus
Mam: But one thing to remember, it's not his insurance
Me: You still shouldn't annoye Mr Bus
Mam: But they can fill out the accident report forms so that it makes it appear to be your fault, I should know I filled out loads for your father
Me: Which is why you shouldn't annoye Mr Bus
Mam: It's bigger than you
Me: So you shouldn't annoye it
Mam: And it's about 7 tonnes
Me: Yes, that's why you shouldn't annoye Mr Bus
Mam: But if it's going to hit you theres nothing you can do to stop it
Me: But you still shouldn't annoye Mr Bus
Mam: ALL RIGHT, you shouldn't annoye Mr bloody Bus

lol I'm insane

Ars longa, Vita Brevis

Heh, since I don't think anyone will know what that means the quote is "Art Long, Life Short" and at the moment I feel that appilies to me very mucho.

Sorry about the long period between updates but I've been at nasty horrible stress levels and having the strenght to post has been very hard.

I'll admit right now that I have been saying that I'm okay when in reality I haven't really been but I don't want any of you to worry. I've just been stressed and the times I said I was okay to people where the times when I wasn't boucing off the walls worried sick over things. I was calm and happy in those situations and thought that everything was resolved...until the next crappy thing came along that is. So I haven't been lying to anyone - just in case anyone thinks I was - I was just going through a calm down lull.

Right anyway on with the update - I'm not going to do a day by day cause I've left it too long so sumerise are on the way.

Uni - generally okay, been plodding through the various letcures quite happily and having a bit of fun. Thursday was a particually good day for me as I managed to get a very big bit of work out of the way - namely the 25 shot moive ^_^ I really wish I could have let you lot listen to Hiya's voice mail he left me - the blond baka had left his clock on Beligum time and thought that he was running late for the start of the shoot when he wasn't - it was the voice of panic. I would have loved to see him when he finally got to the place and realised he wasn't late but never mind. Me and Graham took the photo's cause David was editing his documentary all day but I got some really good shots which I'm happy about ^_^ And Hiya-kun can really act, partically cause he was embarressed at having to fall in love with Easter, my yellow rabbit ^_^. Then on Friday Noel was off ill so I had the full day off.

Quote from Uni:
Lee: I think that Graham [Denman] should be the next Dr. Who
Si: Yeah that would be funny
Mark: (telling someone else) Graham should be the next Dr Who
Lee: Should I tell him?
Me: I don't think so

Hiya answerphone message: Ryu (not using my real name) I am so sorry, I overslept, please please still be there, I'm so sorry. Don't hate me for this, please please please please be still there

Work - a mixed week, monday randomly my call cque switched to billing only and remained that way until wedneday when Ritchie (another supervisor in my area but not mine) asked me why I had logged in with someone elses extention. thinking it was a mistake on my part at first I logged out and re-signed in with my extion. Again Ritchie said I had logged in wrong and I said I had not cause I was using my ext of ***** (no I'm not giving it out to any of you lot ever) and it had been mine since I had come across to this building back in January last year. Eventually turned out that stupid admin had managed to somehow gone and given my ext to a new starter by the name of Andrew. How the hell they managed that one is a bloody mystery to me, so Ritchie e-mailed them and they got it switched back to me but not my call cques. So I went through the night as billing. Next day (Thursday) I log in and they still haven't got me in the call cque, spoke to Richie who sent another mail off to them to sort it out. In the meantime I dealt with the most nastiest and horrible calls I have dealt with in a while (I'll save you the rant cause I think Bakaness might just go and kill me if I do), I knew I couldn't cope so I logged out got myself a nice cup of tea and logged back in. Thankfully they had got me back into my call cques and I had nice customers for the rest of the night! Yeahness! And even better THEY FINALLY SORTED OUT MY PAY!!!!! I'm on the correct wages now (after about five months of trying) and they have given me my back pay! Hip hip horay!!!!! ^_^

Quote from work:
Mike (Team coach): So are we to start calling you Andrew now then Ryu?

Ahmed: [in ref to pay] That's good, they still haven't sorted mine out
Ahmed: [whispered] I got an extention [on uni work] and I kinda can't tell my friends on the course cause the letcurer doesn't want everyone whinging at him

Margret: Steve-o's going to be roasted for that [in ref to POPS]
Margret: [when she got in on Saturday]Oh we have a table this week. That's good

Social - another mixed annoyances. Generally it has been okay bar the small fact that I couldn't find the reciteq (spelt with a P so Baka knows what I am going on about - anyone who can tell me how to spell that damn word would make me very happy) for the laptop and Gericom were asking for it. Paniced over it (I think I previously ranted about this) and then called them and was told I didn't need it, only for the bloody thing to be found on Tuesday on the fridge door under the Pendel Witch magnet which I got years ago. (How it is there is a mystery and now it is being held safely in a clear plastic bag with all of the others) Then crunch time came...I had to send the forms off ot Gericom. Firstly mam said she would send them for me and then found out that sending to an international number from work would be highly suspect so that idea was scrapped. She gave them back to me and I went and put them down and then couldn't find them the next day when I learnt that I could send them from a shop around the corner from me, to say I was highly paniced on Wednesday was an understatement but I eventually found them...can't remember where but I found them and got it all sent off. Then couldn't find my bank account book - needed money for things akak Holiday and Mam's b/day present of the back garden - that turned up on my windowsill under a box of Terry's Chocolate orange segements. I tidied my room up and then couldn't find my uni folder with my work in, that turned up somewhere else. Then I couldn't find my Digicamera - turned out to be in my brown back-pack - and I swear that there was a curse on me cause I just kept on losing things and getting myself stupidly stressed over them.

So once that was all sorted out, I went out on Friday night with Baka, Kal, Kamo and Hiya to Nagomi's and it was a fun and interesting evening which I really did enjoy. Even though I nearly fell asleep on Kamo's shoulder. Saturday was okay, bar the fact that work was too busy for a saturday (and I'm being serious about that), and I really enjoyed watching Dr Who (heh I'm a total fan) and Gosford Park again ^_^

Forgot to mention Friday - the day off - was up and got the money I needed to go out with for the night time and then Dad took me out on the trike ^_^ BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! It was really great and I seriously recommend anyone whose having a bad time to go and have a go on it - if Dad'll let you of couse. the only slight problem was that the fuel pump packed in on us twice and we ended up in a slight tiz but nothing bad. (well not by me and my Dad's standards)

Today I helped with the gardens - ended up in tears cause Dad was getting on my nerves over me picking weeds out of the garden path. It was stress related and I was determind to go and get my Theory Essay done. Why is it that parents seem to have a homing radar for when you have something planned which you really really want/need to do they suddenly find a thousand and one little tasks that need doing? Seriously it was annoying as hell and we all ended up in a group hug cause I was bad with it. Eventually escaped and started on my Theory essay. It took me all afternoon but I'm happy that it's done, printed off a copy for mam and sent one off to Noel to read (even though he's ill bless his little cotten socks) so hopefully I'll get full feedback from that soon.

Quotes from Social:

Me: Whoever invented growing up deserves to be shot!

Baka: You will be all right for tomorrow, right? [part way through my rant on Thursday night]

Mam: Look your not [abridged] and stressing is only going to make the delay worse [girls should know what that means]

Hiya: VECTORS!
Baka: [attacked him visicolsley]

Graham (co-student): [via text]Hello Mad woman etc
Me: [reply]K, what's with the mad woman?
Graham: [reply]Mad woman who knocked me over

Dad: We did all right for us

Mam: [in ref to the Trike and the garage where we get things fixed]He was like hmm, she's grown up

Kal: And how did you two manage to get to Kendo at 9:15 when it finishes at 9:30?
Me: Kal think...actually no I won't tell you
(please read Kamo's blog carefully and see if you can work it out)

Well that's it!

*sighs* That feels so good ^_^

Just quick

We all have things about our friends that make us slightly envious. Not in a bad way, but in a "Wow! I wish I had that person's hair, eyes, money, relationship, toe nails, whatever."

So tell me what about me makes you envy me, then post this in your LJ and see what makes me envious of you!

heh I'm curious

Tales from the drowned rat

The title is a rip off of Tales from the River Bank but it doesn't fit what I am actually going to rant about.

Quote that made me laugh:
Lee: Q.What's white and can't climb a tree?
A. A Fridge

lol it made me laugh only cause Mark (a lad from media - ironically Lee is as well) got the image in his head of a fridge standing by a tree and not being able to climb it. He was laughing for a good twenty minuets and it got to a point where all three of us were laughing.

Neeways - the actual update

Saturday - went to work as normal and then went to the disco which was a good night. Felt a little out of place cause it was mainly my mum's workmates but at least I got some good dances with Kamo *grins broadly*

Sunday - got up, got sorted and then Chu-chan came around and we caught the bus into town. Went to see Valiant which was okay - a bit of a ever-so-typical British War film but made for kiddies and played down on the horror that war is. It's a sunday afternoon film more than anything and it's more fun playing guess the voices and play along with the British jokes that it is watching it but meh. We would've gone and seen Robots but unfortunatly we had missed it by 10ish minuets which was a real pain in the arse. Came home afterwards and watched Dr Who repeat cause I missed it the previous night and I am totally a fan of it! (Even though Jack and Martin don't like it) Had tea and then went online before going to bed.

Monday - got up after spending an extra hour in bed, had to find my stuff cause I had forgotten to get everything sorted out the night before. Went into town early to get Kal's birthday present ^_~ and to help Rob take the equpiment back from the shoot. Mooched around a little bit and then went to my usual letcure and poor old Noel went back over half of the stuff that he had done just before we had broke up - with a few extra bits added so that we didn't tell him straight away. lol. Drove to work and I swear they were out to get me but it could just be due to the fact that I hadn't been driving in traffic for a while. Went through work as normal and got elven pops which I was mega happy about. Came home, had a shower and went straight to bed.

Tuesday - got up and went in early to see Noel with Si in order to go through the theory questions that had to be covered and decided on what I was actually going to do. Went and got some theory books out of the libaray and I've decided that I'm going to buy one of them cause I keep going back to it. Then went to talk to the dsylexia lady to go over the stuff that I had gotten from Nerac and what I had to do (still need to send the letter off but that'll get done tomorrow). Went home and did something (can't think what) before going to work and going through a general night, slogued my guts out trying to get pops and ended up with 5 but luckily my presentation rate was high so it was worth it. Came home, had tea, went online and did some research whilst chatting on to Baka-chan.

Wednesday - got up and went in for my usual Tech lesson, found out that the tech assingment might have to take a different route cause it's proving to be tricky to get the right systems working (this is from Graham the lecturer) so we might have to change something around. Came home and received a letter from Gericom about the laptop saying that I needed to pay (not suprising) for the replacement but they needed a copy of the original recite. That had me going 'Oh f***king sh*t' cause I had not actually bought the laptop as I had given the money to my parents which meant that I did not have the bloody recite. slightly panicking I searched through my top drawer (which contains all of my important papers so I know where they are) and no sigh of it at all, went into the spare room to search through the folder where mam keeps all that sort of stuff and no sign of it. All of this time I was praying to god that Dad would not come upstairs and ask what I was doing cause it would have caused a hell of a lot of problems. I decided that it was better to ask Mam if she knew where it was so I went downstairs and watched Star Trek DS9 with Dad, went to work, once I calmed myself down by playing with Raggy (my Teddy who sits on my Desk - I won him at the Town Moor a couple of years ago and he's been on my desk with Gonzo ever since) I actually had a really good night at work, got 11 pops and Premier and Care packages which I really needed so I was bouncing around like a good one. Drove home and asked mum if she knew where the recite was, she guessed at the file as well. Got home, had tea, mum searched for the recite and could not find it. To say I was a little bit panicky is an understatement but I kept myself calm and composed. Decided the best idea was to call Gericom and see if I could get around it. Stayed online late cause I was printing off the photo's from the shoot, filling out my loan information, writing a check and talking to my two kitties of Kamo and Hiya ^_^ Long story - I'll explain some other time.

Thursday - got up, found that Dad was out so I called Gericom to explain the situation. And this was how the conversation went:
Operator: "Welcom to Gericom how can I help?"
Me: [rather panicky and nervous] "Hi my name is Sarah Elliot and I've got a damaged claim that I have to pay for but I've recieved a letter saying that I need to send off the original recite from the purchase. We've searched everywhere and we can't find it so I was wondering what I could do about it?"
Operator: Have you already sent it off to be fixed?
Me: Yes
Operator: Well you don't need the recite then cause they'll still fix it for you anyway
Me: Oh, [happy and relieved]really? Brilliant! Thank you so much!

So after all that worry turns out that I didn't need to bloody thing...talk about annoyingly typical. so I filled out the forms, put it in a envelope, put the loan stuff in another envelope, checked I had everything and went off to uni to go and see Graham and the group for our documentary meeting. Went through what we had done and basically where we were up to and what we still had to do. Once that was over I was going to head off and send the stuff by recorded delivery - but I forgot my purse that had my money in so I need to do that tomorrow. So I went to Bar One to meet up with Graham and David so we could decide what we were going to do for our 25 shot movie. We're doing a parody style thing entitled 'Harvey's Sister Finds Love' and it should be very funny to make (and Kamo and Hiya might be asked very nicely if they can help us again but we don't know yet). After that talked to David as I headed to the bus about various films - mainly though about Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas - and then I got the bus home. Once home I requested a hug off my Dad cause I needed one after all of this - though don't tell him - and had a nice hot shower and then came online and updated my blog.

Got work later on and then I'm going to be online to take a bit more time off doing anything.

*big grin* that feels so much better ^_^

"Life, don't talk to me about life. I'm not getting you down am I? I would hate to be getting you down"

Heh Marvin's got another quote today but I feel like I'm going to be ranting a lot so forgive me in advance.

Monday - was an average day, nothing really bad happened and all went swimmingly along fine.

Tuesday - got up, met Baka chan with the hyperactive Sweep who not only jumped all over me, also jumped all over her and went even more hyper whilst waiting for her to turn it. It was great to see Baka again and we talked on for a bit before I had to get home in order to go to Alan's with my Dad to get some software and advise on how to use it. Alan made it look quite simple and easy to organise. Got home, tried to load it on my laptop only to find that my laptop had now gone and got a nasty inky black blob on the screen - how is still a mystery to me - so made the first call to the company to get it fixed under it's warrenty and insurance. The first guy I spoke to couldn't speak English very well and I did not get far with him at all. Was asked how it happened and I said that I didn't know and the only thing I could think of was that possibly it had been stood on but I highly doubted that. Dad heard me say that and believed that I had said I had stood on it even though I do not remember doing so. Tried to load the program on the main computer and still had faults with it, called Gericom again and got someone who could understand English better and he was no problem at all. Arranged for the laptop to be picked up and fixed for Thursday. Mam came home early with a Samurai Sword from Geoff at work for me cause he had been doing a clean out so that was great. Drove the car to work and went through the usual routines.

Wednesday - got up and called Alan to try and get the computer working. Turned out that I had the wrong code and I just needed to set it up via the right click. Got that on then had a nightmare trying to connect my getoblaster to the computer so that we could record the story tape. Finally got that working after a few goes, which Dad was happy about, and then recorded Red Dwarf onto the computer. That was fine, then I couldn't get the recording to go onto CD. Gave up as I was running out of time and went to work for the usual stuff.

Thursday - got up early and went to the shops once again with Sweep with the intention of getting two bottles of wine (one for Geoff and one for Alan). Found that the leader had become completely knackard so I bought a brand new one and some photo ablums cause they were cheap and I remembered that I needed to print some of my photo's off from the computer. Came home and spent five hours or so trying to get the progam to work correctly. Ran virus checks cause the computer wouldn't shut off, tried to download the additional upgrade from the internet, the computer stopped reading CDs and I was starting to get seriously annoyed with the bloody thing until I accidently right clicked on the icon for the CD-rom and pressed open. It worked and I got it all sorted out in a matter of five minuets. To say that I was a tad annoyed was an understatment as Hiya, Kamo and Baka found out when I ranted on at them last night. Got the first two tapes onto one CD and it worked on everything we tried (thank god) so I finally escaped from the computer, took the dog for a walk, had something to eat, watched a bit of telly and then went to work. Got given a Free Inflatable Light Saber - work are doing a Star Wars day tomorrow so I'm cool - and it was literally 'every kid always wanted a light saber' (if you happened to like Star Wars) as the other teams started attacking each other with them and making the sound effects. Only Steve was around from my team and we were too far away to actually do anything like that but I hit my Dad with it on the head when I got home. Mum had come home early again so I got to drive the car there and back. Came online, made some thank you cards for Alan and Geoff and then went to bed.

Friday - got up (eventually) and cleaned the upstairs whilst listening/singing with Iron Maiden's Brave New World and then Moulin Rouge sound track - which I'm sure I've pinched off Dad but I don't know. Took the dog for a walk, had some breakfast, watched Loony toons and then came online. Gonna probably print off some of the pictures and then get ready to go to Kendo tonight since I skipped last week.

Well hope I didn't annoy you lot too much,

Enjoy yourselves

Heh another oopse

Well, Ryu-chan's been bad again and not updated for a while *hits self on the head* So here goes

Monday - not a lot done on that day, generally mooched around and then went to work. Also learned that Sarah (Supervisor) was leaving us. :-( Came home and stayed online till stupid-o-clock

Tuesday - was up reasonablly and I think Kal came round (or was that monday? Gah I can't remember) and then went to work, was online a little bit but stayed off due to the film shoot and had some fun getting to sleep

Wednesday - THE FILM SHOOT - let's see, was up early, into town, met the others, did the shoot (too much detail to go into and I'll bore you all to death with full details when I see you all next ^_^), came home, was absouletly knackard, went to work, had tea and went online till 12 and went to bed.

Thursday - was woken by Dad letting the dog into my room at 13:05 (even though he claims it to be 14:00 which it was not!) as he needed some help fixing his window seal. Of course he told me this after I started to run myself a bath so I was in my dressing gown trying to sort that out. To say I was a little bit un-nerved is an understatment. Finally got that sorted and got out of the bath at 14:30, then watched TV with Dad still feeling less that human - possibly sub-human was a good way to describe me - and went to work. Got my final POP I needed so saved myself getting into unessary trouble and possibly missing out the oportunity of getting a pay-rise next year...when HR actually get me on the right bloody pay

Friday - got up at 8 and did the usual Friday clean the top of the house, then watched Haibane Renmei last disc ^_^ Great series even if it did make me cry just a little. Kal called me and we went into town to get Hiya-kun's birthday present and he's not going to find out what it is yet and also got my Grandma a ornament of Mittens from the Beatrix Potter stories. Then went to Forbidden Planet and finally got myself the Shadowrun Sourcebook ^_^ Saw my Kamo-chan for a little bit and borrowed FFVII off him (he knows that he's not going to get it back for at least two years cause that was how long it took me to complete FFIX) and then went home cause Kallers wasn't feeling well *huggles and pets* get better soon hunny. Didn't go to Kendo cause I was feeling bad as well - bloody emotions and hormones! Whoever said that growing up was easy was a damn liar! *looks a little bit worried* heh forgive my wierdness but recently I've been going through some weird freaky-deaky emotional crap which I do not need...think Mam might just have cheered me up though cause I feel quite light hearted and happy now...

[Stop insert]

Today - was up at normal time and had breakfast and then went to work. From 10:20 till 13:30 it was solid calls which I learnt were due to annoying systems breaking last night and everyone telling the customers to call back tomorrow during the day...*huffs slightly*. Got to work on my Shadowrun Character of Bax - a massive ork street ganger whose got interests in flowers, paintings and animals. So in otherwords he's a big massive gun-toting monster with a kind and tender heart ^_^ (And yes Baka, I've got his little old mum as a contact lol) and to make it more fun he's a geordie!!! Then came home and watched Dr Who second Ep! whilst eating mam's home made pizza and garlic bread. Then had another bath and started reading Last Human and then came online.

Now I'm going to go and do stuff and wait for Hiya-kun to come only cause I need to ask him something *dances off*
